Built for the garden, equally at home indoors
This gold round wall mirror decor piece combines a clean circular silhouette with a classic windowpane grid, creating an eye-catching focal point wherever you place it. A recent addition to our Exmouth Collection range, it was chosen for its dual indoor-outdoor versatility and the warmth its gilded frame brings to both contemporary and traditional settings.
Design & Materials
The frame is constructed from steel, finished in a smooth, warm gold tone with a subtle sheen that catches the light without appearing brassy. Six rectangular panes are defined by slim metal glazing bars that sit flush against the glass, evoking the look of a Georgian round window. The mirror glass itself is clear and undistorted, set behind the grid framework and backed with a plastic sheet board for added protection. At just 2.5 cm wide, the frame profile keeps the design feeling refined rather than heavy — a gold metal round mirror that lets the reflection and the grid pattern do the talking. The overall effect is part industrial, part classic, and it pairs naturally with brushed-brass hardware, warm-toned wood, or darker metal accents.
Size & Placement
At 100 cm in diameter, this is a large round gold wall mirror that commands attention without overwhelming a space. Indoors, we often suggest this for a living room wall above a console table or sofa, where its proportions sit comfortably and the grid detail becomes a natural conversation piece. It also works well centred on a hallway wall to bounce light from a nearby window. Outdoors is where this mirror truly comes into its own — mount it on a garden wall or fence to reflect greenery and sky, creating the illusion of a circular window opening onto another part of the garden. The steel construction and sealed backing mean it is built to handle the elements, so it suits patios, courtyards, and walled gardens throughout the year. With a depth of just 2 cm, it sits close to the wall for a neat, streamlined look in any setting.
Hanging & Installation
The mirror comes fitted with two keyhole fixings on the back, so hanging is straightforward — simply hook it onto two appropriately spaced screws in your wall. At 10 kg, it is manageable for one person to lift, though having a second pair of hands to hold it level while you mark fixing positions makes the job easier. Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included, so choose fixings suitable for your wall type — standard rawl plugs and screws for masonry, or heavy-duty plasterboard anchors for stud walls. If mounting outdoors, stainless-steel or weather-resistant screws are advisable. Do not use string, wire, or chain to hang this mirror.
