WHAT’S ITS HISTORY?
The Venetian (known commonly as ‘frameless’) era of mirrors all had a common theme in style.
This theme involved designing mirrors without a wooden frame, to take the aesthetic looks of the mirror to a whole new level.
This style remains today as a sentiment of timelessness, and the Lingport mirror is a reflection of that with its more modern, sleek-and-clean interlock pattern style.
Its interlocking style creates a sense of geometry about the mirrors design, leaving the beholden with a sense of elegantly arranged solidarity and natural beauty.
The Lingford, linking itself together in a pleasantly modern way, its themed interlocking design frozen in time.
WHAT’S IT GOOD FOR & WHAT DOES IT GO WITH?
This mirror has been named the Lingport, intended to represent the inter-linking pattern this mirror holds.
The front face of the Lingport being made entirely of mirror glass, its simplistic design is very easy to keep clean making it ideal for use as a bathroom mirror.
It’s small to medium range of sizes available also marry with use within the washroom.
Let not any limitation as to how the Lingport can be used, as it can find space throughout the home where appropriate.
Such as in darker spaces to reflect a greater amount of pure light in and around the mirror’s surroundings.
The interlocking pattern can mesh well with many different interior themes, and what with the mirror being frameless, its typical ‘silvery’ mirror glass reflective shine tends to feel very natural and goes well with most design styles and surrounding objects.
WHAT’S IT MADE OF?
All elements of the mirror glass pieces come with small bevelled edges, intended to strengthen the mirror in the event of an accident, whilst also taking ‘the edge off’ the mirror to make it appear more aesthetically pleasing.
These mirror glass pieces are carefully placed onto a high-resin plywood board that has been covered with soft black felt to protect the mirror and its surroundings.
The colour choice for the felt being black so as to remain neutral and not to be distractive.
