WHAT’S ITS HISTORY?
A modern take on an age old pattern design. The Lynmouth mirror is here to represent the pure and beautiful with its Venetian frameless design that sheds light from every angle of its clean front mirror face.
An elegant triple bevelled edged interlocks around the mirror to weave a geometrically pleasing pattern that can represent the purity of simple mirror glass itself.
WHAT’S IT GOOD FOR & WHAT DOES IT GO WITH?
Available in 8 different sizes, the smaller sizes of the Lynmouth can work very well within the washroom as an easily wipable wall mirror.
It’s medium to larger sizes can work anywhere indoors thanks to the mirrors simplistic and universally appreciable design.
The Lynmouth mirror is great for pushing the light around its immediate environment, especially when placed near a window, whilst also creating that greater feeling of spaciousness.
Five of the mirror sizes are of what we would consider small going up to large size, however there are two larger sizes that can be used as either full length or floor leaner mirrors.
All of the Lynmouth’s size variations can either be hung on a wall either landscape or portrait.
The eighth size and type of mirror that this design comes in is the cheval / free standing mirror. Perfect for use in the bedroom, landing or even bathroom space as a full length dressing mirror, whilst being easy to move around as required to get the best light or fit the right space.
On account of the spotless and unadulterated nature of Venetian styled mirrors such as the Lynmouth mirror, this nature empowers the mirror to function admirably by complimenting various décor colour plans.
From the extremes of light and bubbly colours through to the dark and deep, this mirror can make it work.
Whichever colour scheme this mirror is to be placed in to, it will continually infuse a more prominent measure of light into a space particularly when set close to a window.
WHAT’S IT MADE OF?
All segments of the mirror glass pieces come with little bevelled edges, proposed to brace the mirror if there should be an occurrence of a mishap, while furthermore taking ‘the edge off’ the mirror to influence it to appear to be more stylishly pleasing.
These mirror glass pieces are carefully placed onto a high-resin plywood board, that has been secured with delicate black felt to help protect the mirror and its encompassing surroundings.
The colour choice for the felt being black originates from the idea to remain neutral and not to divert the eye from the mirror or its surroundings.
The legs that create the free-standing properties of the cheval version of this mirror are made of wood, which are then coated in a black laminated veneer so as not to distract from the mirror itself or its surroundings.
A chain is also screwed on between the mirror’s reverse board itself and the top cross-support leg, to provide adequate support for the mirrors free standing functionality.
