WHAT’S ITS HISTORY?
Named after the Sherbourne Estate Manor House in Dorset. The Sherbourne mirror’s design has been propelled by a portion of the finest mirror frame makes that European culture has seen all through modern history.
A portion of the notable designs were incredibly rich and ornate, and the Sherbourne has been conditioned to reflect a modest level of that but with its inherently more moderate present day sense of style.
WHAT’S IT GOOD FOR & WHAT DOES IT GO WITH?
Coming in 4 different colours, silver, gold, black and white. The Sherbourne with its unique level of high detail around its frame, can work well in most spaces around the home providing that the mirrors surroundings are in compliment.
That said, thanks to the variety of colours available, and depending on the intended interior design style this mirror can be a great fit in most circumstances. It goes especially well with other similarly themed detailed objects.
This particular mirror is one of our most ornately detailed in terms of the complexity of the frame design.
As illustrious as it is, it also holds a sense of simplicity and subtleness about it, when considering that the floral pattern effect does not extrude too far from the mirror, and that the patterned area is placed in a convex dip section of the frame which adds an even greater level of refined subtlety.
The Sherbourne mirror comes in one size as a full length or floor leaner mirror, ideal for hanging on the wall or simply leaning against it.
WHAT’S IT MADE OF?
The Sherbourne mirror carries a little bevel to the edge of the mirror glass panel. This works to add solidarity to the mirror panel while additionally creating a subtle artistic element to the otherwise plain mirror glass front.
The frame is produced using high-resin plywood, of which the ornate pattern effect is then detailed utilizing laser technology to guarantee a precise end product.
The frame is then taken to the finishing division where it is appropriately hand painted.
The reverse of the mirror is left unpainted, and the mirror glass board is secured at its reverse with a sheet of plywood board to keep it secure and in place.
