WHAT’S ITS HISTORY?
When we speak of tradition, the term ‘tradition’ can mean many things to different people.
When we look at the Williton, and marry it to the word traditional, the marriage evokes thoughts of a more 19th to 20th century style of mirror frame curation.
Whereby extravagance was not the leading fashion statement, but more the easy-to-carve styles that matched the décor of the North American Wild West.
The Williton, although a simple frame design, is a beautifully effective one. Universal in its nature, which is an important element of its design because of the sheer large sizes that this mirror comes in.
Simplistic bevelling and extrusions along the mirrors frame, is what makes up the simple delights that this mirror has to offer.
WHAT’S IT GOOD FOR & WHAT DOES IT GO WITH?
Let space and light flood and reflect throughout your home with our largest wall mirror available.
The Williton mirror’s big size allows mostly for it to be placed where space allows.
Most commonly found in the living room, but also when possible it can work in the bedroom, or along the large wall of a hallway.
It could even be placed vertically on the stairwell landing wall with fantastic effect, literally creating the sense the stairwell area being doubled in size visually.
Thanks to its simplistic frame design, most modern interior spaces can be complimented by this mirror.
With the choice of two different sizes and 5 different colours to choose from of each being silver, gold, white, black and bronze. The Williton can cater for a variety of different interior designs.
WHAT’S IT MADE OF?
The mirror glass itself comes with no bevel because of the sheer size of the mirror.
High-resin plywood is what makes up the primary material of the frame, chosen for its versatility and strength.
The plywood is machine carved and refined down to its design by our master mirror craftsmen where it is then taken to finishing to be very carefully painted by hand.
The reverse of the mirror glass has an plywood board cover to protect the glass.
