A Poem For You
In a chamber of reflections, I chanced upon a sight,
A free standing swing mirror, a vision of pure light.
Its grace and subtle charm did hold me in a trance,
A dance of glass and silver, a whispered, sweet romance.
Upon its surface, dreams and memories took flight,
In the free standing swing mirror, I beheld my life’s delight.
Each angle, curve, and contour held a story of its own,
A tale of love and laughter, of the seeds that life has sown.
Its frame, a gentle whisper, a touch of elegance and ease,
A free standing swing mirror, a breeze through autumn leaves.
In its presence, I found solace, as it swung from side to side,
A dance of truth and beauty, where my soul could not hide.
From the dawn of morning’s light to the twilight’s tender kiss,
The free standing swing mirror bore witness to my bliss.
And as the sun dipped low, and the stars began to gleam,
I knew within my heart, that this mirror held my dreams.
For in its silver surface, I saw the truth and grace,
A free standing swing mirror, a reflection of life’s embrace.
And so, I’ll hold it close, this treasure I have found,
In the free standing swing mirror, my soul’s reflection unbound.
