This free standing art deco mirror brings a clean, geometric elegance to any room. Part of our Lynmouth Collection range, a collection that sells consistently well with our bedroom and dressing-room customers, it pairs a generous full length reflection with a frame design that feels distinctly 1920s-inspired yet completely at home in a contemporary setting.
Design & Materials
The frame is constructed entirely from bevelled mirror panels arranged in a layered triple-line pattern — three parallel strips run down each side and across the top and bottom, separated by slender black pinstripe detailing. The effect is architectural: light catches the bevelled edges at different angles, creating subtle shifts in reflection as you move around the room. Behind the glass, a hardwood backing provides rigidity, while a black felt layer protects whatever surface the mirror rests against. There is no conventional timber or metal frame visible from the front, giving the piece an all-mirror, frameless silhouette that sits comfortably alongside modern, geometric, or art deco interiors.
Size & Placement
At 150 cm tall and 40 cm wide, this is a genuinely full length standing mirror — tall enough for a head-to-toe view yet narrow enough to tuck beside a wardrobe, into a corner, or alongside a window without dominating the wall. We often suggest this for bedrooms and dressing areas where floor space is at a premium. The flat bottom edge means it leans securely against a wall at a gentle angle, supported by the included back stand, so there is no need to drill or fix anything. It also works well in a hallway for a last-minute outfit check, or positioned in a salon or boutique fitting area where clean lines matter. If you prefer a more pared-back aesthetic alongside neutral tones and crisp furniture, this art deco free standing mirror slots in effortlessly — customers tend to pair this with metallic accents, mirrored bedside tables, or monochrome soft furnishings.
Hanging & Installation
The mirror arrives with a black back stand already fitted, so it is ready to position straight from the box — simply unfold the stand and lean the mirror at the desired angle. At 10 kg it is manageable for one person, though a second pair of hands makes placement on carpeted floors easier. If you ever decide to wall-hang this mirror instead, the back stand unscrews cleanly. You can then add suitable wall-hanging fixings — keyhole plates or D-loops — to the hardwood backing and mount it in portrait orientation on a solid wall or into timber studs.
