Delivery Information

How to find your product’s delivery method

  • Each product we sell gets delivered via either our Specialist Courier, Standard Courier or Postal Delivery depending on the item.
  • You can find the delivery method of the product you wish to order on its product page under the ‘DELIVERY INFORMATION’ section of the product’s description.
  • Then you can find the corresponding delivery information for that product from the Table of Contents below:

NB. If you’re ordering mirror fittings with a mirror, they will be delivered with the mirror instead of being posted out separately.

SPECIALIST COURIER

  • This delivery schedule only applies to product pages that mention the Specialist Courier delivers them.
  • For larger mirrors, we use a Specialist Mirror & Glass Courier whose fleet of delivery vehicles service certain areas on set days every week.
  • We endeavour to deliver all goods within 6 working days although some products may take longer.
  • The popup below shows a map broken down into the postcode areas the Specialist Mirror & Glass Courier delivers to within the UK, and the dedicated delivery schedule for that area:

Placing Your Order

  • When placing your order, it is important that you include a mobile number as you will be notified of delivery times predominantly via SMS text messages.
  • In addition, please ensure that you have included the full delivery address details with an accurate postcode, along with an up to date e-mail address.

Delivery Process

  • After you create your order with us, in due course you will receive an SMS text message notifying you of your estimated delivery date.
  • 1 day before your order is due to go out on delivery, you will receive an SMS text message confirming the actual delivery date.
  • On the morning/day of your delivery, you will receive an SMS text message confirming your 2-3 hour delivery slot.
  • You will then receive an SMS text message confirming when the delivery driver is 1 hour away.
  • This courier aims to complete deliveries/collections between 7am-8pm. However, from time to time it is necessary to work outside of these times and we appreciate your understanding in advance.

Order Processing Times

  • Orders received on Saturdays, Sundays or public holidays, will be processed the next working day.

Delivery Assistance

  • For larger items the specialist courier driver will require assistance as these are 1 man deliveries.
  • The specialist courier drivers are only permitted to carry out ground floor deliveries. For deliveries to apartments where communal stairs need to be negotiated in order to access the property the drivers will assist where possible subject to unencumbered access.
  • Where access is restricted the delivery drivers reserve the right to refuse assistance on safety grounds.
  • In the event of a customer being unable / unwilling to assist, the item will be returned to us and you will be contacted in due course by a member of our dispatch team.
  • When ordering online, it is our customer’s responsibility to ensure there is adequate parking and easy access to your property. If this becomes an issue at the point of delivery, we will endeavour to contact you to negotiate delivery arrangements. If, at the point of delivery, provision has not been made to cater for this requirement, we do reserve the right to lay a charge of £25 for re-delivery.

*** Delivery of Mirror Glass Sheets ***

  • Sheet mirror glass is delivered without packaging. This is due to the fragile nature of the item and transportation. Cut edges may also be sharp, so please to this into account if the driver requires assistance in handling the mirror glass. Please ensure a soft, clean space is prepared for delivery.

Not Going To Be Home?

  • If you are not going to be present to accept the delivery, please notify us prior to delivery or leave a signed note in a secure place with instructions for the delivery driver.
  • The specialised courier will call your mobile number en route, and if contact is not made and no note is left, where possible they may opt to leave your item with a neighbour or in a safe place and put a note through your door to advise.
  • Please note that if your delivery fails because: you were not available to receive the delivery; you did not designate or inform us of a suitable safe place to leave the delivery; or the delivery driver was unable to leave the item(s) with a neighbour or in a safe place. Then we reserve the right to charge, at our discretion, an additional £25 including VAT for re-delivery.
  • If you have any special requirements or believe access to your address may be difficult for the specialised delivery driver then please contact us.

STANDARD COURIER

  • This delivery information section only applies to product pages that mention the Standard Courier delivers them.
  • For smaller mirrors, we use APC Courier, who usually deliver Monday to Friday.

  • Items ordered will usually be delivered within 2-3 working days.
  • We endeavour to deliver all goods within 6 working days although some products may take longer.

  • If you’re not going to be available on the day of delivery, and you’d like the consignment left in a safe place, you must give us advance notice so we can inform the courier. If advance notice is not given to the courier before the day of delivery, the courier will not leave safe the consignment.
