Built for the Garden, Equally at Home Indoors
This church window mirror brings the elegance of Gothic architecture to your garden, hallway, or living room. A steady performer in our full length mirrors line-up — chosen repeatedly by customers looking for an ornate outdoor piece that works just as well inside. With its tall pointed arch and intricate tracery, it creates the illusion of a reclaimed chapel window wherever you place it.
Design & Materials
The steel frame has a soft, rustic cream finish with a lightly weathered quality — warm without looking brand-new. Four slender lancet-style panes run the height of the lower section, topped by narrower arched panes rising toward the apex. A central quatrefoil motif sits near the crown, flanked by two smaller trefoil shapes, echoing genuine church window ironwork. The frame profile is slim at roughly 2.5 cm wide, keeping the emphasis on the glass. Individual mirror panels are clear and un-bevelled, giving bright, clean reflections. A plastic sheet backing board provides weather protection, making this large full length window mirror suitable for year-round outdoor use.
Size & Placement
At 160 cm tall and 85 cm wide, this is a genuinely full length arch wall mirror that commands attention without overwhelming a space. In a garden, we often suggest mounting it on brick or rendered walls where it can reflect planting and sky, creating the impression of a window through to another space. The flat bottom edge also means it can lean securely against a wall indoors — propped in a hallway behind a console table or at the end of a dining room, it makes an immediate focal point. The rustic cream colourway pairs naturally with stone, exposed brick, and pale timber. If your décor leans decorative or shabby chic, it slots right in; equally, it adds warmth in a more pared-back modern scheme. At just 3.5 cm deep, the profile stays neat against the wall.
Hanging & Installation
Two keyhole fixings on the back — one on each side — let you hook the mirror onto a pair of screws. Do not use string, wire, or chain. Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included; choose fixings appropriate for your wall type. At 19 kg, a two-person lift is the safest approach when positioning. For leaning placement indoors, rest the flat base on a stable surface and tilt the top gently toward the wall — no fixings required, though a small anti-slip pad beneath each corner adds peace of mind on hard floors.
