Built for the garden, equally at home indoors
This arched window pane mirror pairs a graceful arch-top silhouette with a robust metal frame finished in a beautifully weathered green patina. A recent addition to our Wheddon Collection range, it was chosen for its ability to blur the boundary between indoors and out — reflecting greenery and sky in a way that opens up even the most enclosed garden wall.
Design & Materials
The steel frame is divided into fifteen individual mirror panes — twelve rectangular sections beneath a fanlight crown featuring an elegant semicircular motif with intersecting glazing bars. The effect is distinctly architectural, recalling the leaded windows of Victorian conservatories and orangeries. Up close, the finish reveals layers of mossy green over warm rust-brown undertones, giving the frame the naturally aged character of old ironwork left to weather gently over time. Each pane holds clear, unbevelled glass that delivers a bright, accurate reflection, while a plastic sheet backing board seals the rear. The overall construction feels solid and substantial at 12 kg, with a slim frame profile of roughly 2.5 cm that keeps the emphasis on the reflective surface itself.
Size & Placement
At 92 cm tall and 63 cm wide, this metal arch wall mirror is a confident statement without being overpowering. Outdoors, we recommend mounting it on a fence panel, rendered wall, or brick partition where it can catch light and reflect planting — an especially effective trick in a narrow courtyard or shaded patio. Indoors, it sits naturally above a console table in a hallway, over a fireplace, or as decorative wall art in a living room with farmhouse or industrial styling. The flat bottom edge also means you can lean it on a mantelpiece or deep shelf if you prefer not to drill. Customers looking for garden metal wall decor will find the rustic green finish blends with outdoor foliage through every season, while inside it pairs comfortably alongside exposed brick, reclaimed timber, and darker metals.
Hanging & Installation
The mirror has two keyhole fixings on the back — one on each side — so you can simply hook it onto screws driven into your wall. Do not use string, wire, or chain to hang this mirror. Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included; use fixings suitable for your wall type (masonry anchors for brick or stone, appropriate cavity fixings for plasterboard). At 12 kg it is manageable for one person, though having a second pair of hands makes levelling easier. For outdoor installation, stainless-steel or galvanised screws will help prevent rust staining around the fixing points over time.
