Built for the Garden, Loved Indoors Too
This mirror window arch pairs a classic arched silhouette with a beautifully weathered metal frame, creating a focal point that works just as well mounted on a garden fence as it does above a console table. A recent addition to our Luckwell Collection range, chosen for its distinctive verdigris-green patina that bridges rustic charm and industrial edge.
Design & Materials
The frame is constructed from steel, finished in a mottled green-and-gold distressed coating that closely resembles naturally aged bronze or copper. Close up, you can see patches of soft sage green layered over warm russet tones — the kind of texture that would take years to develop on genuine reclaimed ironwork. The arch window mirror design divides the glass into twelve individual panes, topped by a graceful Gothic-style inner arch within the curved crown. Each pane is set into slim metal glazing bars approximately 2.5 cm wide, keeping sightlines clean while adding architectural interest. The glass itself is clear and unbevelled, backed by a plastic sheet board for added protection. In our experience, the multi-pane layout catches and scatters light more dynamically than a single sheet of glass, which makes this style particularly effective in shaded garden corners or narrow hallways.
Size & Placement
At 90 cm tall and 60 cm wide, this decorative metal arch wall mirror is substantial enough to anchor a feature wall yet compact enough to tuck beside a back door or above a garden bench. Outdoors, we often suggest positioning it on a fence panel or rendered wall where it can reflect greenery and open up a compact courtyard. The flat bottom edge also means you can lean it against a garden wall or sturdy potting bench if you prefer not to drill. Indoors, it sits comfortably above a hallway console, a farmhouse sideboard, or a living room mantelpiece. The rustic finish pairs naturally with exposed brick, reclaimed wood furniture, and warm neutral walls — think antique and industrial styling rather than ultra-modern minimalism. Weighing 8 kg, it is easy for one person to lift into position.
Hanging & Installation
The mirror comes with two keyhole fixings on the back — one on each side — so you simply hook it onto a pair of wall screws. Mark your drill points level using a spirit level, then fix screws appropriate to your wall type (masonry anchors for brick, plasterboard fixings for stud walls). Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included, so choose fixings rated for the wall you are working with. Important: do not use string, wire, or chain to hang this mirror. For outdoor mounting, stainless-steel or weather-resistant screws will help prevent corrosion at the fixing points over time.
