Built for the garden, loved indoors too
This full length mirror wall mirror combines old-world ironwork charm with a generous 160 × 75 cm footprint, making it a focal point wherever it hangs. A steady performer in our Full Length Mirrors line-up — chosen repeatedly by customers looking for ornate outdoor-ready designs.
Design & Materials
The frame is constructed from steel and finished in a warm ivory tone with a convincing aged patina — up close you can see the natural variation in colour, with subtle hints of grey-green and sandy gold showing through the paint. It is firmly in the distressed, vintage camp rather than a clean, bright white. Decorative fleur-de-lys finials rise from each vertical bar, while the arched top section is filled with elegant scrollwork arranged in a sunburst pattern. The lower half features heart-shaped scroll motifs that sit in front of the mirror glass, lending real three-dimensional depth. Behind the glass sits a plastic sheet backing board for protection and rigidity. The glass itself is clear and unframed by bevelling, allowing the metalwork to take centre stage.
Size & Placement
At 160 cm tall and 75 cm wide, this large vintage full length mirror is scaled to create real visual impact without overwhelming a space. Indoors, we often suggest this for hallways and living rooms — it sits beautifully above a console table or sideboard, as shown in the lifestyle images. With a flat bottom edge, it can also lean against a wall if you prefer a relaxed, informal look. Outdoors, it comes into its own mounted on a brick or rendered garden wall, where it catches light and reflects planting to create the illusion of a window or gateway. Because this is rated for indoor and outdoor use, the steel construction handles British weather, though a sheltered spot will keep the finish looking its best for longer. The full length arch wall mirror silhouette pairs naturally with antique, industrial, and rustic décor — think exposed brickwork, reclaimed wood furniture, or wrought-iron light fittings.
Hanging & Installation
The mirror comes fitted with keyhole fixings on the back, so you simply hook it onto screws already set in the wall — no wire, string, or chain is needed. At 14 kg, we recommend a two-person lift during installation. Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included; choose fixings appropriate for your wall type, whether that is solid masonry, brick, or a timber-framed stud wall with appropriate anchors. For outdoor mounting on brick, standard masonry fixings will work well. Make sure the screws sit at the correct spacing and protrude just enough to catch the keyhole slots securely.
