Installation & Hanging Guidelines

The ‘Safety-Backed’ variants of our sheet mirror glass come with a sticky film laminated onto the back of the glass sheets which in the event of breakage stops the mirror glass from breaking apart and falling to the floor when it is shattered.

This collection does not have drilled holes, so a strong grip adhesive will need to be used to install the mirror.

These ‘Polished-Edge’ variants have smooth edges that a hand can be run down the side of safely without causing injury.

It is recommended that the installation of Mirror Glass is carried out by a qualified tradesman or competent person. Follow safety precautions present on the product’s label when using this product.

Cleaning & Maintenance

If dust builds up on the mirror, you can use a simple hand duster, or a dry lint-free, scratch-free cloth.

If the mirror needs extra cleaning, use typical glass cleaning spray or a water / white-vinegar mixture spray and wipe the glass with a lint-free, scratch-free cloth to get a streak-free finish.

Delivery Policy

  • This item will be delivered by our Specialist Mirror Courier
  • Please ensure that you include your mobile number when ordering to receive SMS delivery updates.
  • We endeavour to deliver all items via this courier within 6 working days, although some products may take longer.
  • Orders received on Saturdays, Sundays or public holidays will be processed the next working day.
  • Please note: All larger mirrors will need assistance carrying from the van to the premises.

After you place your order:

  1. We will send you a separate e-mail with your expected delivery day.
  2. The courier will confirm to you your delivery day via SMS text, and we will send you an e-mail the day before the delivery is due.
  3. On the day of delivery, we will send you an email with an estimated time window at which point you will be able to track the order.

Returns Policy

Damages/Exchange Policy

  • Any damages, returns and exchanges must be notified to us within 7 days of delivery.
  • In ALL cases the original packaging IS required to instigate a return.
  • Simply email us on info@themirrorman.uk and we will arrange for the exchange to take place.
  • In the unlikely event that you receive this item damaged, we will arrange to collect, exchange and re-deliver this item to you at no extra cost.

Returns Policy

  • In the unlikely event that you would like to return this item, then please contact us on email: info@themirrorman.uk
  • We will arrange for our Specialist Courier to collect the item which MUST be boxed in the original packaging.
  • We will issue a refund of your item within 7 days of the item arriving back with us and it being checked.
  • This refund will be less the collection fee of £25 including VAT for each item.
  • In the Very unlikely event that the original packaging is not available for the collection, we will automatically deduct £25 from any refund for repackaging.
  • Should an item be damaged on delivery and you still dispose of the packaging, you will need to contact us to pay the repackaging cost of £25 before we can action an exchange.

Extended Returns Periods

  • All orders ordered over a bank holiday will have the extra days added to the return period.
  • All orders placed from 15th November, returns and exchange will be accepted until the 15th January the following year.
