Built for the garden, equally at home indoors
This black arch window mirror full length pairs a striking multi-panel design with a generous 174 × 85 cm frame, giving you the architectural drama of a Crittall-style window wherever you choose to hang it. A steady performer in our Full Length Mirrors line-up — chosen repeatedly by customers looking for that industrial-modern crossover that works just as well outdoors as it does inside.
Design & Materials
The frame is constructed from steel with a matte black powder-coat finish, giving it a clean, contemporary edge that resists the elements. Up close, the profile is slim — roughly 2.5 cm wide — with a subtle stepped detail where each glazing bar meets the outer frame. The arched top rises in a gentle curve above three rows of rectangular panes, 18 panels in total, each set with clear, unbevelled glass. A plastic sheet backing board sits behind the mirror, adding rigidity and protecting the silvering. The overall effect is unmistakably industrial: think converted-warehouse windows, factory skylights, or the kind of ironwork you see in Victorian orangeries. It pairs naturally with exposed brick, raw plaster, or dark wood furniture, and its black metalwork complements other modern and industrial accents in a room.
Size & Placement
At 174 cm tall and 85 cm wide, this is a genuine full-length wall mirror with real presence. Hung in portrait orientation it offers a head-to-toe reflection while doubling as a dramatic focal point. In our experience, a mirror this size works especially well above a console table in a hallway or centred over a bed as a statement headboard alternative. Because it is rated for outdoor use, it is equally effective mounted on a garden wall or fence, where the arched panes reflect planting and sky to create a sense of depth. At 20 kg it is a substantial piece — plan your wall space before committing to a position. The flat bottom edge also means you can lean it against a wall if you prefer a more relaxed, floor-standing look, though wall-mounting is recommended outdoors for stability.
Hanging & Installation
The mirror comes fitted with two keyhole fixings on the back, so installation is straightforward: simply drive two screws into your wall at the correct spacing and hook the mirror over them. Do not use string, wire, or chain to hang this mirror. Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included — choose fixings appropriate for your wall type (solid masonry, breeze block, or stud). At 20 kg, we recommend a two-person lift when positioning the mirror and suggest heavy-duty fixings rated for the weight, particularly if mounting on a plasterboard or stud wall.
