This black geometric wall mirror pairs clean rectangular lines with a layered border of alternating bevelled clear glass and black glass strips, creating a stepped, three-dimensional frame effect that catches light from every angle. A steady performer in our Wall Mirrors line-up — chosen repeatedly by customers looking for bold geometric detail without a bulky frame.
Design & Materials
The frame is constructed entirely from mirror and glass, giving this piece its distinctive frameless look. Multiple tiers of bevelled clear mirror strips are interlocked with glossy black glass panels, producing a geometric pattern that reads as both modern and subtly art deco. Each bevelled edge adds depth and refraction, so the frame appears to shift as you move past it. Behind the glass layers sits a hardwood backing board lined with black felt to protect your wall surface. In our experience, mirrors with this kind of layered glass construction feel surprisingly substantial — at 2 cm deep and 10 kg, this is a solidly built piece that sits flush and looks precise once hung.
Size & Placement
Measuring 120 cm tall by 40 cm wide, this large modern wall mirror is narrow enough to slip into spaces where wider designs would overwhelm — think the strip of wall between two doorways, a slim hallway, or beside a wardrobe. Hung portrait, it gives you a generous head-to-waist reflection; turned landscape, it becomes a wide rectangular accent above a console table or sideboard. At 120 cm in portrait orientation, it works well above a console without dominating the wall, and its black-and-silver palette pairs naturally with chrome hardware, charcoal soft furnishings, or high-contrast monochrome schemes. The flat bottom edge also means you can lean it against a wall at floor level for a relaxed, contemporary look in a bedroom or dressing area. Customers tend to pair this with minimalist interiors, though its geometric detailing is equally at home in spaces with a decorative or art deco lean.
Hanging & Installation
This mirror comes fitted with four D-loops on the back, positioned so you can hang it in either portrait or landscape orientation. Line up your wall screws with the centre of the corresponding D-loops and hang the mirror directly — do not use string, wire, or chain. Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included, so choose fixings appropriate to your wall type: standard rawl plugs for solid masonry, or specialist plasterboard fixings for stud walls. At 10 kg, a two-person lift is not strictly essential but makes positioning much easier, particularly when lining up multiple fixing points.
For a clean, flush-wall finish, we recommend pairing this mirror with our heavy-duty mirror fittings kit — a hook-and-loop back-plate system designed to sit flat against solid frames.
