Built for the garden, equally at home indoors
This black metal frame mirror full length combines a graceful arched top with a bold window pane grid, creating the look of a reclaimed Palladian window. A steady performer in our full length mirrors line-up — chosen repeatedly by customers looking for a versatile indoor-outdoor piece that adds depth and architectural interest to any setting.
Design & Materials
The frame is constructed from steel with a matte black powder-coat finish that sits comfortably alongside both industrial and contemporary décor. Slim metal bars — roughly 2.5 cm wide — divide the glass into a series of panes: a fan-light arrangement across the arched crown, flanked by smaller rectangular sections down each side, with a large central panel that keeps the reflection open and practical. The glass is clear and un-bevelled, giving a clean, modern appearance rather than a decorative shimmer. A plastic sheet backing board protects the rear and makes the mirror suitable for outdoor placement where traditional wooden backs would warp. In our experience, the matte black finish pairs particularly well with exposed brick, warm timber, and greenery — whether that is a living room gallery wall or a south-facing garden fence.
Size & Placement
At 170 cm tall and 60 cm wide, this is a genuine full-length mirror for wall or leaning use that still keeps a narrow footprint. The flat base means you can rest it securely against a wall at a slight angle — ideal in a bedroom beside a wardrobe or at the end of a hallway where it will draw the eye and bounce light. Outdoors, we often suggest positioning it against a brick or rendered garden wall where it reflects planting and sky, creating the illusion of a window into another space. The 3 cm depth keeps the profile slim against any surface. Because it weighs 20 kg, it feels reassuringly solid without being unmanageable. If you favour a large full-length mirror in a black frame that works both indoors and out, this one covers both bases without compromise.
Hanging & Installation
The mirror is fitted with two keyhole fixings on the back, so you simply hook it onto two screws driven into your wall — no wire, string, or chain should be used. Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included; choose fixings appropriate for your wall type (solid masonry, plasterboard with anchors, etc.). Given the 20 kg weight, we recommend a two-person lift when positioning, and securing into solid wall material wherever possible. If you prefer to lean rather than hang, the flat bottom edge makes this straightforward — just ensure the base rests on a stable, level surface with a slight backward tilt for safety.
