Built for the garden, equally at home indoors
This black industrial mirror full length in proportion brings a clean, architectural edge to any space it occupies. A steady performer in our full length mirrors line-up — chosen repeatedly by customers looking for that contemporary industrial aesthetic without the bulk of a heavyweight frame. The windowpane grid divides the glass into fifteen distinct panes, creating the convincing impression of a Crittall-style window wherever you place it.
Design & Materials
The frame is constructed from steel with a smooth matte black finish, giving it that understated factory-warehouse character. Up close, the bars sit proud of the glass, adding genuine depth and shadow — this isn’t a flat printed-on grid. Each pane is clear, unembellished mirror glass without bevelling, so reflections stay crisp and undistorted. The back is covered with a plastic sheet backing board for protection, and the overall depth is a slim 3 cm, keeping the profile tight against the wall. It’s a large full length mirror with a black frame that pairs naturally with exposed brick, concrete, raw timber, or sleek painted walls — versatile enough for modern and industrial schemes alike.
Size & Placement
At 160 cm tall and 80 cm wide, this is a genuinely oversized piece — tall enough for a full-length reflection, yet narrow enough to sit comfortably on most standard wall sections. We often suggest this for hallways and entrance areas, where the grid pattern catches daylight and draws the eye down the corridor. Because the base is flat, you can lean it against a wall as a full length black wall mirror without any wall fixings at all — ideal in a bedroom or dressing area. It is also rated for outdoor use, so positioning it on a garden wall, a patio boundary, or against a shed will create the illusion of an extra window and amplify greenery reflections. In a living room or dining space, mounting it portrait-orientation above a console table or sideboard makes a strong focal point. It can also be hung landscape if your wall layout suits — in our experience, landscape works particularly well above a long sofa or bench.
Hanging & Installation
The mirror comes fitted with four keyhole fixings on the back, allowing you to hang it in either portrait or landscape orientation. Position your wall screws to align with the centre of each keyhole, then hook the mirror on. At 14 kg it is substantial but manageable — we recommend a two-person lift when positioning it, especially if wall-mounting at height. Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included, so choose fixings appropriate to your wall type: standard plugs and screws for solid masonry, or suitable plasterboard anchors for stud walls. Do not use string, wire, or chain to hang this mirror.
