This extra large leaner mirror is a consistent bestseller in our Leaner Mirrors range. At over two metres tall and more than a metre wide, it delivers the kind of generous, room-opening reflection that smaller mirrors simply cannot match — a shape we reach for when customers want a single piece to transform the feel of a space.
Design & Materials
Rather than a traditional timber or metal surround, this mirror is framed by a wide border of bevelled mirror panels, each cut at an angle that catches and refracts light across the room. The bevelled sections are mounted onto a slim silver-toned metal edge, visible only on close inspection, which keeps the overall profile clean and minimal. Behind the glass sits a sturdy hardwood and wood-based backing board that gives the piece its rigidity. The result is an all-mirror surface — no colour, no frame grain, just pure reflection — making it exceptionally easy to pair with any décor scheme, from pared-back modern interiors to warmer, layered rooms.
Size & Placement
At 202 cm tall and 141 cm wide, this is a genuinely oversized piece. Leaned against a bedroom wall it provides a full-length view with room to spare, while in a living room it can sit behind a sofa or sideboard to amplify natural light and create the illusion of a much larger space. The flat bottom edge means it rests steadily on the floor when leaned, and the 4 cm depth keeps it relatively close to the wall. If you prefer a wall-mounted look, it can also hang in either portrait or landscape orientation — landscape above a long console table is a particularly effective arrangement. At 25 kg, it is substantial but manageable for two people to position. This silver large wall mirror works beautifully alongside neutral palettes, light wood furniture, and contemporary metallics, and its frameless design ensures it never competes with other statement pieces in the room.
Hanging & Installation
The mirror arrives with four D-loops fixed to the back, positioned so you can hang it in either portrait or landscape. Align your wall screws with the centre of each D-loop and hang directly — do not use string, wire, or chain. Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included, so choose fixings appropriate for your wall type; for plasterboard or stud walls, specialist plasterboard anchors rated for at least 25 kg are essential. Given the weight and size, we recommend a two-person lift during installation. If you plan to lean the mirror, no fixings are required, though a small anti-slip pad beneath each corner helps keep it stable on hard floors.
For a clean, flush-wall finish, we recommend pairing this mirror with our heavy-duty mirror fittings kit — a hook-and-loop back-plate system designed to sit flat against solid frames.
