This large bevelled wall mirror pairs a generous full length proportion with an entirely frameless design, letting the bevelled glass border do all the talking. Part of our Amesbury Collection range, a collection that sells consistently well with our bedroom and hallway customers.
Design & Materials
Rather than a conventional frame, the mirror is bordered by four wide angled mirror panels, mitred neatly at the corners to form a raised, three-dimensional surround. The angled cuts refract light at different points during the day, adding subtle sparkle and a sense of depth you simply do not get from a flat sheet of glass. The central panel is clear bevelled mirror, and the entire piece is backed by a hardwood and wood-based board for rigidity. A slim silver-toned edging strip runs around the perimeter, keeping the profile sleek and protecting the glass edges. The overall effect is polished and contemporary — a silver full length wall mirror that sits comfortably alongside modern, minimalist, or even art deco interiors.
Size & Placement
At 165 cm tall and 78 cm wide, this rectangular full length wall mirror gives you a head-to-toe view while remaining narrow enough for spaces where width is limited — think the wall beside a wardrobe, a landing between doors, or a hallway alcove. The flat bottom edge means it can also lean securely against a wall if you prefer the relaxed look of a floor-standing leaner mirror in a bedroom or dressing room. In our experience, a frameless wall mirror of this scale works particularly well opposite a window, where the bevelled border amplifies natural light and makes a room feel noticeably larger. The 6 cm depth keeps it close to the wall without protruding into walkways.
Hanging & Installation
Four D-loops are pre-fitted to the back, positioned so you can hang the mirror in either portrait or landscape orientation. To mount it, simply align your wall screws with the corresponding D-loop centres and hang the mirror directly — no wire or chain should be used. At 17 kg this is a substantial piece, so we recommend a two-person lift for safe positioning. Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included; choose fixings rated for your wall type (solid masonry, plasterboard, or stud). If you are fixing into plasterboard, specialist anchors or toggles rated above the mirror’s weight will be essential.
For a clean, flush-wall finish, we recommend pairing this mirror with our heavy-duty mirror fittings kit — a hook-and-loop back-plate system designed to sit flat against solid frames.
