This full length wall mirror wood frame pairs classic proportions with refined silver-finished detailing, offering a generous reflection that opens up any room it sits in. A steady performer in our Full Length Mirrors line-up — chosen repeatedly by customers looking for traditional ornate style with real presence on the wall.
Design & Materials
The frame is built from hardwood with casting resin corner and mid-rail ornaments, finished in a warm, muted silver with a soft satin sheen. Each corner carries a scrolling acanthus-leaf motif, while smaller floral cartouches sit at the midpoints of each side, breaking the profile with a restrained decorative rhythm. A fine beaded inner edge runs the full perimeter, adding a layer of texture that catches the light without overpowering the glass. The frame itself has a gentle convex profile approximately 6 cm wide — substantial enough to read as a proper ornate mirror, yet not so heavy that it overwhelms narrower walls.
The glass is clear and bevelled, giving a clean, bright reflection framed by a subtle angled edge that lifts the overall quality. In our experience, this combination of silver frame and bevelled glass sits comfortably alongside both cool grey palettes and warmer neutral schemes, making it a flexible choice if your décor evolves over time.
Size & Placement
At 180 cm tall and 70 cm wide, this is a genuinely large full length silver wall mirror. Hung in portrait, it gives you a head-to-toe view — perfect for a hallway, landing, or bedroom wall where you need to check a full outfit. Turned to landscape, it makes a striking piece above a sofa or console table; in the lifestyle image you can see exactly this arrangement, where the wide format draws the eye across the room and amplifies natural light.
The narrow width class means it fits comfortably on chimney-breast walls, between doorways, or in alcoves that would swallow a wider design. It also has a flat bottom edge, so you can lean it against a wall as a large full length floor mirror if you prefer a relaxed, informal look in a bedroom or dressing area. We often suggest this for period properties where wall space is generous in height but limited in width.
Hanging & Installation
The mirror arrives fitted with four D-loops on the back — positioned so you can mount it in either portrait or landscape orientation. Line your wall screws up with the centre of each D-loop and hang the mirror directly; do not use wire, string, or chain. At 17 kg, this is a two-person lift. We recommend checking your wall type before you start — solid masonry will hold standard rawl plugs and screws, but plasterboard or stud walls need specialist fixings rated for the weight. Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included.
For a clean, flush-wall finish, we recommend pairing this mirror with our heavy-duty mirror fittings kit — a hook-and-loop back-plate system designed to sit flat against solid frames.
