Built for the garden, loved indoors too
This large full length arch mirror draws its silhouette from classic gothic church windows, rising to a graceful pointed apex that immediately lifts the eye. A steady performer in our full length mirrors line-up — chosen repeatedly by customers looking for that architectural edge in both interior and outdoor spaces.
Design & Materials
The frame is constructed from steel with a soft, sandy cream finish that has been lightly distressed to give a weathered, stone-like appearance. Close up, you can see subtle tonal variation across the surface — warmer where the base colour shows through, cooler on the raised profile edges — lending it a genuinely aged character rather than an off-the-shelf uniformity. Slender glazing bars divide the mirror into tall, narrow panes topped by a pair of nested pointed arches at the crown, faithfully echoing a gothic window tracery pattern. The glass itself is clear and unadorned, offering crisp reflections that contrast nicely with the rustic frame. A plastic sheet backing board protects the rear, and the overall frame profile is slim at roughly 2.5 cm wide, keeping the focus on the elegant arch shape rather than the border.
Size & Placement
At 190 cm tall and 75 cm wide, this is genuinely imposing — a full length arch wall mirror that commands attention without needing a vast stretch of wall. In our experience, a piece this height works particularly well at the end of a narrow hallway, where it pulls natural light deeper into the space and creates a striking focal point. Indoors, lean it against a living room wall beside a tall houseplant for a relaxed, curated look, or mount it in a dining area where the window-pane design reflects candlelight beautifully. Outdoors, it is equally at home mounted on a brick garden wall or propped against a hedge line, where it bounces greenery back and visually doubles the depth of a border. The flat bottom means you can lean it securely on any level surface. At 4 cm deep and 25 kg, it has enough heft to feel substantial yet stays manageable for two people to position. If you favour a shabby chic large wall mirror aesthetic with a softer palette, the cream finish pairs naturally with whitewashed furniture, linen tones, and muted metallics.
Hanging & Installation
The mirror comes fitted with two keyhole fixings on the back, designed for portrait hanging — simply hook them over two screws spaced to match. Do not use string, wire, or chain. Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included, so choose fixings appropriate for your wall type: standard plugs and screws for solid masonry, or heavy-duty plasterboard anchors if fixing to a stud wall. Given the 25 kg weight, we recommend a two-person lift when positioning and hanging. For outdoor mounting, stainless steel or weather-resistant screws will help prevent corrosion over time.
