This modern gold wall mirror draws the eye with its Moorish-inspired silhouette — a graceful trefoil crown that lifts it well beyond a standard arch shape. A recent addition to our Fyne Collection range, it was chosen for the way its clean lines bridge modern and decorative styles, making it easy to place in a wide variety of settings.
Design & Materials
The frame is constructed from steel, finished in a warm, smooth gold with a subtle satin sheen that catches the light without appearing overly shiny. At roughly 2.5 cm wide, the frame is deliberately slim — enough to define the mirror’s distinctive outline without competing with it. The profile follows the classic Moorish arch: straight sides, gently indented shoulders, and a rounded dome at the top. The result is a shape that feels both architectural and ornamental.
Clear, unbevelled glass fills the entire opening, providing a crisp, undistorted reflection. The back is finished with a plastic sheet backing board for protection, and the gold-toned hardware on the reverse matches the frame for a considered, cohesive finish. As an indoor-outdoor mirror, the steel construction resists the elements far better than wood or MDF alternatives, so it works just as well mounted on a garden fence or sheltered patio wall as it does in a hallway.
Size & Placement
At 104 cm tall and 61 cm wide, this is a generously sized gold metal mirror that makes a statement without overwhelming a wall. We often suggest this for narrow spaces — above a console table in an entryway, centred on a chimney breast, or used as a focal point on a garden wall to reflect greenery and open up a smaller courtyard. In our experience, this mid-height size sits perfectly above furniture between 75–90 cm tall, leaving a comfortable gap that keeps the composition balanced.
The flat bottom edge means you can also lean this mirror against a wall on a shelf, mantelpiece, or sturdy sideboard if you prefer not to fix it permanently. Outdoors, it pairs beautifully with climbing plants or positioned among metal garden wall art to create a layered, textured display. The modern gold finish complements both contemporary and more traditional schemes — think dark-painted walls, natural stone, or warm timber.
Hanging & Installation
The mirror comes with two keyhole fixings on the back, so you simply hook it onto two screws driven into your wall at the correct spacing. At 12 kg, it is a solid piece — we recommend having a second person to help you position and hang it. Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included; please use fixings suitable for your wall type. For masonry or brick garden walls, standard rawl plugs and coach screws will hold it securely. For plasterboard or stud walls indoors, use appropriate cavity fixings rated for the weight. Do not use string, wire, or chain to hang this mirror.
