Built for the garden, equally at home indoors
This gold window mirror full length piece brings the charm of classic window architecture to any wall, inside or out. A steady performer in our full length mirrors line-up — chosen repeatedly by customers looking for a tall, narrow design that opens up smaller spaces with reflected light and greenery.
Design & Materials
The frame is constructed from steel with a warm gold painted finish that catches the light with a soft, satin-like sheen. Its slender arch profile — just 2.5 cm wide — keeps the look refined rather than bulky, letting the windowpane grid take centre stage. That grid divides the mirror face into twelve panes arranged in two columns of six, with a gently curved arch crowning the top pair. Small rosette medallions sit at each horizontal intersection along the central bar, adding an ornamental flourish inspired by traditional ironwork. The glass itself is clear and flat (not bevelled), giving clean, undistorted reflections through every pane. A plastic sheet backing board provides protection and weather resistance, which is essential for a mirror rated for outdoor use.
Size & Placement
At 190 cm tall and 40 cm wide, this is a genuinely towering piece — taller than most adults — yet narrow enough to slot into surprisingly tight spots. In our experience, a gold arch full length mirror this slender works beautifully in hallways, between windows, or beside a front door where a wider frame would overwhelm the wall. Indoors, lean it against a bedroom or dressing-room wall for a relaxed, full-length gold wall mirror effect, since its flat bottom edge sits flush on the floor. Outdoors, mount it on a garden wall or fence to create the illusion of a Gothic window opening onto a second garden beyond. Its weather-resistant construction means it can handle UK conditions year-round, though a sheltered spot will keep the gold finish looking its best for longer. The narrow 3 cm depth means it sits almost flat, so it won’t protrude awkwardly in a corridor or patio walkway.
Hanging & Installation
The mirror comes fitted with two keyhole fixings on the back, so wall mounting is straightforward — simply hook it onto two screws at the correct spacing. At 15 kg it is substantial, and we recommend a two-person lift when positioning it on the wall. Do not use string, wire, or chain to hang this mirror. Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included, so choose fixings appropriate for your wall type: standard rawl plugs and screws for masonry, or suitable plasterboard anchors if fixing to a stud wall. For outdoor mounting on a brick or rendered wall, stainless-steel screws will resist corrosion and keep the mirror secure through seasonal changes.
