Built for the garden, equally at home indoors
This gold full length mirror pairs generous proportions with a distinctive grid frame that draws on classic greenhouse and Crittall glazing for its structure. A steady performer in our full length mirrors line-up — chosen repeatedly by customers looking for that industrial-meets-modern aesthetic in a warm gold finish. The result is a piece that feels architectural rather than purely decorative, adding depth and light wherever you place it.
Design & Materials
The frame is constructed from steel with a smooth, satin-gold painted finish — warm without being brassy, with a subtle sheen that catches the light. Thin, flat-profile bars divide the glass into a central panel flanked by narrow side sections, with a row of three smaller panes at the top and bottom. This nine-section layout gives the mirror the proportions of a real window, creating an illusion of openness that works especially well on boundary walls and fences. The glass itself is clear and un-bevelled, letting the grid pattern take centre stage. A plastic sheet backing board protects the rear, and the overall depth sits at just 4 cm, so the profile stays slim whether wall-mounted or leaned.
Size & Placement
At 180 cm tall and 85 cm wide, this is a large gold mirror with genuine full-length presence — tall enough for a head-to-toe view and broad enough to reflect a generous slice of the surrounding space. In our experience, it works particularly well in hallways and living rooms where you want an alternative to artwork that also amplifies natural light. Lean it against a bedroom wall beside a bedside table for a relaxed, contemporary look, or mount it in portrait orientation in a narrow entrance to make the space feel twice its actual width. Because it is rated for outdoor use, you can fix it to a garden wall or fence panel to reflect planting and sky — a reliable trick for adding depth to a courtyard or patio. Pair it with raw-wood furniture and matte-black hardware for an industrial scheme, or set it against dark painted walls where the gold tones will really sing.
Hanging & Installation
The mirror has four keyhole fixings on the back, allowing you to hang it in either portrait or landscape orientation. Position your wall screws to line up with the centre of the corresponding keyholes, then hook the mirror on. At 18 kg, we recommend a two-person lift to get it into position safely. Do not use string, wire, or chain to hang this mirror. Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included — use fixings suitable for your wall type. For solid masonry, standard rawl plugs and screws will do the job; for stud walls, toggle bolts or dedicated plasterboard fixings rated for the weight are essential. If you plan to lean it, the flat bottom edge sits flush against the floor for a stable, angled rest.
