This art deco style wall mirror pairs clean rectangular proportions with a layered, stepped frame built entirely from bevelled mirror panels — no wood or metal visible from the front. The result is a piece that feels architectural, drawing in light and giving even a compact wall a sense of depth. A steady performer in our Wall Mirrors line-up — chosen repeatedly by customers looking for a refined, all-mirror finish.
Design & Materials
The frame is constructed around a solid hardwood backing, giving it genuine structural rigidity, while the front is composed of tiered bevelled mirror strips that create a stepped, inset profile. Each strip catches light at a slightly different angle, producing subtle reflections within the frame itself — a hallmark of classic art deco wall mirrors. A black felt layer on the rear protects your wall surface and helps the mirror sit flush once mounted. The glass is clear and undistorted, with bevelled edges on the central panel that add a fine polished border around your reflection.
Size & Placement
At 90 cm tall and 60 cm wide, this is a genuinely versatile size. Hung in portrait, it sits comfortably above a bathroom vanity unit or console table without overwhelming the space — in our experience, a mirror of this height tends to give a useful head-and-shoulders reflection while leaving room for wall sconces or artwork alongside. Flip it to landscape and it works beautifully as an overmantle piece above a standard fireplace. With a depth of just 2 cm, it projects very little from the wall, keeping the look clean and modern. The flat bottom edge also means it can lean against a wall on a shelf or mantelpiece if you prefer not to drill. Whether your scheme leans towards minimalist modern or decorative Venetian-inspired interiors, the all-mirror finish complements both without competing with other finishes in the room.
Hanging & Installation
This mirror arrives with four D-loops pre-fitted on the back, positioned so you can hang it in either portrait or landscape orientation. Line up your wall screws with the corresponding D-loops and hang the mirror directly — do not use string, wire, or chain. At 10 kg, it is manageable for one person to lift, though a second pair of hands is helpful for aligning the fixings precisely. Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included, so choose fixings appropriate for your wall type: standard plugs for solid masonry, or specialist plasterboard anchors for stud walls.
For a clean, flush-wall finish, we recommend pairing this mirror with our heavy-duty mirror fittings kit — a hook-and-loop back-plate system designed to sit flat against solid frames.
