Built for the Garden, Loved Indoors Too
This black industrial full length mirror makes an immediate impression wherever you place it. The bold windowpane grid divides the glass into neat rectangular panes, evoking a Crittall-style factory window that bounces light and creates a genuine sense of depth. A steady performer in our full length mirrors line-up, it is chosen repeatedly by customers looking for that industrial-modern edge.
Design & Materials
The frame is constructed from steel finished in a smooth satin black coating with a subtle matte texture — visible in the close-up images as an even, powder-coat-style surface with no gloss sheen. Slim metal bars (approximately 2.5 cm wide) run across and down the face, creating the distinctive grid pattern: four columns with larger central sections that allow generous reflective area. The glass is clear and unbevelled, sitting flush within each section. A plastic sheet backing board keeps the rear tidy. In our experience, satin black metal frames like this pair exceptionally well with exposed brick, concrete, or pale plastered walls.
Size & Placement
At 180 cm tall and 90 cm wide, this is a genuinely large full length black mirror — tall enough for a head-to-toe reflection in portrait, and broad enough to serve as a dramatic landscape feature above a sofa or sideboard. The 4 cm depth keeps the profile slim against the wall.
Because it is rated for both indoor and outdoor use, this full-length black frame mirror works beautifully leaned against a garden wall or fence, where the grid catches surrounding greenery and tricks the eye into seeing an extra window. Indoors, a hallway or dining room is ideal — the rectangular form fills a tall wall space with real presence. Customers tend to pair this with mid-century furniture or pared-back Scandinavian interiors, though it sits just as comfortably in a warehouse conversion. The flat bottom edge means you can lean it securely without a bracket for a relaxed, contemporary look.
Hanging & Installation
Four keyhole fixings on the back let you hang this mirror in either portrait or landscape orientation. Mark and drill your wall fixings to align with the centre of each keyhole, then hook the mirror into place. At 18 kg, we recommend two people for lifting and positioning, and you should use heavy-duty fixings appropriate for your wall type — solid masonry needs rawl plugs, while stud walls require specialist plasterboard anchors rated for the weight. Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included. Do not use string, wire, or chain to hang this mirror.
