Built for the Garden, Loved Indoors Too
This gold Moorish arch mirror draws the eye with its scalloped crown — a silhouette inspired by traditional Moorish architecture that feels both decorative and refreshingly modern. A steady performer in our full length mirrors line-up, it is chosen repeatedly by customers looking for something with genuine character that works just as well outdoors as inside the home.
Design & Materials
The frame is constructed from steel with a warm, satin-finish gold coating that catches the light without appearing overly shiny. At roughly 2.5 cm wide, the frame profile is slim enough to keep the focus on the mirror glass and that eye-catching triple-tiered arch at the top. The glass itself is clear and unadorned — no bevel — letting the shape do all the talking. A plastic sheet backing board protects the rear, and the overall build feels substantial at 20 kg, which is reassuring for outdoor placement where wind resistance matters. In our experience, this slender-framed, bold-shaped approach is the one that pairs most naturally with both contemporary and heritage-style settings.
Size & Placement
At 180 cm tall and 70 cm wide, this is a genuine full length gold arch mirror — tall enough to give you a head-to-toe reflection while remaining narrow enough for spaces where a broader piece would overpower. The flat bottom means it can lean securely against a wall, making it an effortless bedroom leaner beside a wardrobe or an end-of-hallway statement. Outdoors, it truly comes alive: position it against a garden wall or fence to reflect borders and greenery, creating the illusion of depth in a courtyard or patio area. A large gold mirror of this height sits comfortably in a dining room, too — propped behind a console table to amplify candlelight in the evenings. Because the frame is rated for indoor and outdoor use, you are not locked into one location; many customers move theirs between a living room and garden with the seasons.
Hanging & Installation
Two keyhole fixings are pre-fitted to the back, so hanging is straightforward — simply hook the mirror onto two screws fixed into your wall. Do not use string, wire, or chain. Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included; use fixings appropriate to your wall type (solid masonry, plasterboard with specialist anchors, etc.). At 20 kg, we recommend a two-person lift when positioning and hanging. If leaning rather than wall-mounting, rest the base on a non-slip pad to prevent any movement on hard floors. For exterior walls, stainless-steel or brass screws will resist corrosion far better than standard zinc-plated fixings.
