Built for the garden, equally at home indoors
One of our most popular garden mirrors, this large arch window mirror is designed to work beautifully as a mirror for garden walls, fences, and patios — and looks just as good mounted inside a hallway or living room. The classic arched window silhouette reflects greenery, sky, and light, creating the convincing impression of a second view through an old-fashioned casement.
Design & Materials
The frame is constructed from steel with a warm cream finish that has been lightly distressed to give a softly weathered, vintage appearance. Subtle tonal variation across the metalwork — hints of grey and pale gold showing through the cream — keeps the surface visually interesting without looking overdone. The arched top features a decorative fanlight motif with radiating bars, while the main body is divided into a neat grid of rectangular panes, echoing the proportions of a traditional Georgian or Victorian window. Each pane holds a clear, flat mirror panel, and the overall effect is of a large window pane wall mirror with genuine architectural presence. Because the frame is metal rather than timber, it handles moisture and temperature changes well outdoors — a style we see chosen most often for garden walls and sheltered patios.
Size & Placement
At 160 cm tall and 91 cm wide, this is a genuinely full-length piece with a commanding presence. Outdoors, it works brilliantly mounted on a garden wall or fence to bounce light into a shaded corner and make a compact courtyard feel more spacious. Position it opposite planting beds or a climbing wall for the best reflected view. Indoors, it doubles as a large window mirror for a hallway, dining room, or living space — lean it against a wall (the flat bottom sits flush on the floor) or wall-mount it for a more formal look. The cream tones pair naturally with both modern neutral interiors and rustic, country-style rooms, and the industrial metal framework sits comfortably alongside wooden furniture or exposed brick.
Hanging & Installation
The mirror has two keyhole fixings on the back — one on each side — so you can hook it onto a pair of screws driven into your wall. At 25 kg, this is a substantial piece; we recommend a two-person lift when positioning it, and you should use fixings appropriate to your wall type (heavy-duty rawl plugs for masonry, or specialist fixings for stud walls). Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included. Do not use string, wire, or chain to hang this mirror. If you prefer the leaner look, simply rest it on its flat base against a solid wall — on a patio, against a fence panel, or indoors against a feature wall.
