Built for the garden, loved indoors too
This cream arch window mirror is a consistent bestseller in our Garden Mirrors range. With its elegant fanlight crown and grid of rectangular panes, it captures the charm of a traditional Georgian window — reflecting greenery, sky, and light back into your space to create a convincing illusion of depth.
Design & Materials
The frame is constructed from steel, finished in a soft, weathered cream with subtle tonal variation that gives it a gently aged character. Look closely and you will see warm undertones and a faint patina where the finish has been deliberately distressed. The arch top houses a fan of radiating glazing bars, while the lower body is divided into a neat 4×6 grid of rectangular panes, each holding its own section of clear mirror glass. The overall effect is that of a large window pane wall mirror — architectural in feel yet light enough in colour to sit against pale cladding, brick, or painted walls. A plastic sheet backing board keeps the rear tidy. In our experience, this kind of neutral, textured metalwork pairs well with both rustic garden settings and modern industrial interiors.
Size & Placement
At 130 cm tall and 76 cm wide, this is a large window mirror for wall display that commands attention without overwhelming a space. Outdoors, mount it on a fence panel, garden wall, or outbuilding — angled to reflect planting or sky and suggest a second garden beyond. Indoors, it makes an excellent statement above a console table or sideboard in a hallway, where the arch silhouette draws the eye upward. The 4.5 cm frame depth gives satisfying substance on the wall. Because the base is flat, you can also lean it against a wall at floor level for a relaxed, contemporary look — customers tend to pair this approach with low-level greenery for a layered feel. The cream colouring complements exposed brick, white-washed timber, soft grey walls, and bold feature colours with equal ease.
Hanging & Installation
The mirror has two keyhole fixings on the back — one on each side — so you simply hook it onto a pair of screws. Do not use string, wire, or chain. Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included; choose fixings suited to your wall type — standard plugs for solid masonry, or appropriate anchors for stud walls. At 12 kg, a second pair of hands is helpful when lifting and positioning. We recommend marking your screw positions with a spirit level first, as the wide spacing of the keyhole slots means even a small misalignment will show on a piece this size.
