Built for the garden, equally at home indoors
This small arch window mirror pairs a classic multi-pane silhouette with a warm, distressed metal finish that feels as though it has been part of the house for decades. Part of our Honiton Collection range, a collection that sells consistently well with our garden and vintage-style customers.
Design & Materials
The frame is crafted from steel and finished in a mottled cream-and-gold patina that gives it a convincingly aged, rustic appearance. A grid of slim metal bars divides the glass into fifteen panes — twelve rectangular sections below and three fan-shaped segments within the arched crown — replicating the look of a traditional Georgian window. The bars are lightly textured with visible rivets at each junction, adding an industrial edge that sits comfortably alongside vintage, Victorian, or farmhouse décor. Clear mirror glass sits behind each pane, and a plastic sheet backing board protects the rear. In our experience, this style of vintage metal wall mirror works particularly well when mixed with natural textures — exposed brick, reclaimed timber shelving, or linen soft furnishings.
Size & Placement
At 40 cm tall and 24 cm wide, this is a compact piece — ideal for smaller walls or tight spots where a larger mirror would overwhelm. Think of it above a console table in a narrow hallway, beside a kitchen window to bounce light, or tucked into a gallery wall arrangement with prints and botanicals. The metal arch wall mirror shape also lends itself to bathrooms and cloakrooms, where it introduces character without eating into limited space. Because it is rated for indoor and outdoor use, you can mount it on a sheltered garden wall or fence to create the illusion of a window looking through to another part of the garden — a trick that opens up even the smallest courtyard. With a depth of just 1.5 cm and a frame width of roughly 2.5 cm, it sits close to the wall for a neat, unobtrusive profile. The flat bottom edge also means it can lean on a shelf or mantelpiece if you prefer not to drill.
Hanging & Installation
The mirror comes with two keyhole fixings on the back — one on each side — so you simply hook it onto a pair of screws already set in the wall. At only 2 kg, it is light enough for one person to hang comfortably. Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included; choose fixings suited to your wall type (solid masonry, plasterboard, or brick). Important: do not use string, wire, or chain to hang this mirror — the keyhole brackets are designed to sit directly onto screw heads for a secure, flush fit.
