Built for the garden, equally at home indoors
This black window mirror full length combines a generous 180 × 85 cm arch silhouette with a clean industrial window-pane design. Part of our Honiton Collection range, a collection that sells consistently well with our garden and hallway customers. The result is a mirror that draws the eye, bounces light into darker corners, and creates the convincing illusion of a second window wherever you place it.
Design & Materials
The frame is constructed from steel with a matte black powder-coat finish that resists the elements without sacrificing style. Slim, flat bars — roughly 2.5 cm wide — divide the glass into a grid of rectangular panes, while a smaller concentric arch sits inside the top curve, adding an architectural detail you would expect from a period conservatory door. The glass itself is clear and un-bevelled, keeping the look crisp and modern. A plastic sheet backing board protects the rear, and the overall depth is just 4 cm, so it sits close to the wall for a streamlined profile. In our experience, this kind of matte metal finish works particularly well against exposed brick, rendered walls, and timber fencing.
Size & Placement
At 180 cm tall and 85 cm wide, this is a full-length black wall mirror with real presence. Outdoors, position it on a patio wall or against garden fencing to reflect planting and sky, making a compact courtyard feel noticeably more open. Indoors, it suits hallways, living rooms, and dining areas — lean it against a feature wall for a relaxed, contemporary look, or mount it for a more formal feel. The flat bottom edge means it stands securely when leaned. Because it is rated for both indoor and outdoor use, you can move it with the seasons — garden feature in summer, hallway statement piece through winter. At 18 kg it is substantial without being unwieldy, and the arch black mirror shape pairs naturally with industrial, modern, or Victorian-inspired interiors.
Hanging & Installation
The mirror comes fitted with two keyhole fixings on the back — one on each side — so you simply hook it onto screws already set in the wall. Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included; use fixings appropriate to your wall type (masonry, brick, or plasterboard with suitable anchors). At 18 kg, we recommend a two-person lift when positioning and hanging. If you plan to lean the mirror rather than mount it, rest the flat base on a stable, level surface and tilt the top gently against the wall. For outdoor installations, ensure the wall fixings are corrosion-resistant.
