This rectangular decorative wall mirror for living room spaces pairs clean geometric lines with an all-mirror finish, creating a piece that feels both refined and contemporary. Part of our Lynmouth Collection range, a collection that sells consistently well with our living room and hallway customers.
Design & Materials
Rather than a traditional frame, the border is formed by three parallel bevelled mirror strips running along each side. The strips sit at slightly different depths, catching light at varying angles and giving the frame a layered, three-dimensional quality that sets it apart from flat frameless panels. Where the horizontal and vertical strips meet at the corners, they overlap in a neat architectural detail that reinforces the art deco character.
Behind the glass sits a solid hardwood backing finished with a black felt layer, adding rigidity and protecting your wall surface. Every mirror strip and the central panel carry a bevelled edge, so the entire surface plays with light — a hallmark of wall art mirrors in the modern deco tradition. The all-mirror colourway means this piece slots into virtually any palette, from muted neutrals to bold, saturated schemes.
Size & Placement
At 90 cm tall and 60 cm wide, this is a versatile medium-sized mirror. In portrait orientation it sits perfectly above a console table, sideboard, or bathroom vanity without dominating the wall. Flip it to landscape and it works as an overmantle piece or a decorative focal point in a dining area. At just 2 cm deep it sits almost flush, so it suits narrower hallways where projection matters.
We often suggest this for living rooms where you want the impact of decorative wall art without introducing colour or texture that might compete with existing furnishings. The linear geometry also complements modern and geometric interiors, while its deco roots mean it looks equally at home alongside vintage or art deco furniture. The flat bottom edge allows you to lean the mirror on a mantelpiece or shelf if you prefer a more relaxed, gallery-style arrangement.
Hanging & Installation
Four D-loops are pre-fitted to the hardwood back — two positioned for portrait hanging and two for landscape — so you can choose your orientation on the day. Simply align your wall screws with the D-loop centres and hang directly; do not use string, wire, or chain. At 10 kg this is a manageable one-person lift for most, though a second pair of hands makes levelling easier. Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included — use fixings rated for your wall type (plasterboard, brick, or stone).
For a clean, flush-wall finish, we recommend pairing this mirror with our heavy-duty mirror fittings kit — a hook-and-loop back-plate system designed to sit flat against solid frames.
