This square frameless wall mirror offers a clean, contemporary look that suits almost any interior scheme. Part of our Clovelly Collection range, a collection that sells consistently well with our living room and hallway customers, it pairs a generous 90 cm square format with a neatly finished bevelled edge for understated elegance.
Design & Materials
Without a conventional frame, the mirror glass itself takes centre stage. The bevelled perimeter — visible as a subtle angled border — catches the light at different times of day, adding a quiet shimmer that a flat-cut edge cannot match. The glass is backed by a hardwood and plastic-veneer board that keeps the panel rigid and protects the silvering. At just 1.6 cm deep, the profile sits almost flush against the wall, lending a sleek, built-in feel that works beautifully in modern and minimalist settings. Customers tend to pair this with neutral wall tones — soft greys, warm whites, or muted greens — where the all-mirror finish can pick up ambient colour without competing with it.
Size & Placement
At 90 × 90 cm, this is a substantial square wall mirror — large enough to open up a room and bounce natural light, yet controlled enough not to overwhelm a standard wall. In a living room, it sits comfortably above a console table or sideboard, creating a balanced focal point. In a hallway, the square format works well centred above a radiator cover or narrow shelf. For dining rooms, positioning it opposite a window will amplify daylight across the table. Because the base is flat, it can also lean against a wall on a deep shelf or mantelpiece if you prefer a more relaxed, propped look — though we’d still recommend wall-fixing for long-term safety, especially in busy rooms. With a weight of 10 kg, it is manageable for two people to position but not so heavy that it limits your wall choices.
Hanging & Installation
This mirror arrives fitted with two D-loops on the back, aligned vertically for portrait hanging. Install two screws into your wall, spaced evenly to match the D-loop centres, and hang the mirror directly — no wire, string, or chain is needed or recommended. Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included, so please choose fixings appropriate for your wall type: standard plugs for solid masonry, or specialist plasterboard anchors for stud walls. At 10 kg, a two-person lift is sensible to position the mirror accurately and avoid scuffing the glass.
For a clean, flush-wall finish, we recommend pairing this mirror with our heavy-duty mirror fittings kit — a hook-and-loop back-plate system designed to sit flat against solid frames.
