This tall narrow mirror delivers clean, understated elegance with no frame to distract the eye — just pure reflective glass finished with a precision-cut bevelled edge. Part of our Clovelly Collection range, a collection that sells consistently well with our hallway and dressing-area customers.
Design & Materials
Entirely frameless, this rectangular mirror lets the bevelled border do the talking. The bevel — visible as a subtle angled cut around the full perimeter — catches light and gives the edges a polished, faceted quality that lifts the mirror beyond a plain slab of glass. The backing is constructed from hardwood with a plastic veneer finish, keeping the piece rigid and durable at only 1.6 cm deep. From the front, the effect is seamless: a slender panel of glass that appears almost to float against the wall. In our experience, this kind of frameless bevelled mirror pairs effortlessly with modern, Scandinavian, and minimalist interiors where you want reflective surface without visual clutter.
Size & Placement
At 120 cm tall and just 40 cm wide, this is a genuinely narrow piece — ideal for wall spaces that cannot accommodate a broader mirror. It sits comfortably beside a front door, between windows, or in the gap flanking a wardrobe where a wider mirror simply would not fit. Hung in portrait orientation, it gives you a generous head-to-waist reflection, making it practical as well as decorative. You can also mount it in landscape above a console table or sideboard for an elongated, contemporary look. Because the base is flat, you have the option to lean the mirror against a wall for a relaxed, gallery-style arrangement — try grouping two or three side by side above a sofa for a striking rectangular frameless wall mirror display. Weighing 8 kg, it is substantial enough to feel well-made yet light enough for standard wall fixings on solid masonry.
Hanging & Installation
The mirror arrives fitted with four D-loops on the back, positioned so you can hang it in either portrait or landscape orientation. Line up your wall screws with the centre of the corresponding D-loops and hang the mirror directly — do not use string, wire, or chain. Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included, so choose fixings appropriate for your wall type: standard rawl plugs and screws work well on brick or block, while hollow-wall anchors are needed for plasterboard. At 8 kg, a single person can manage the lift comfortably, though having a second pair of hands to check alignment is always worthwhile.
For a clean, flush-wall finish, we recommend pairing this mirror with our heavy-duty mirror fittings kit — a hook-and-loop back-plate system designed to sit flat against solid frames.
