This bevelled mirror full length delivers a clean, expansive reflection with nothing to distract from the glass itself. A consistent bestseller in our full length mirrors range, it pairs a generous 174 × 85 cm surface with a precisely cut bevelled edge that adds just enough detail to feel finished without the weight of a traditional frame.
Design & Materials
Built on a hardwood backing with a plastic-veneer surround, the Clovelly keeps its visual weight almost entirely in the glass. The bevelled edge — clearly visible in the close-up — is ground at a shallow angle around the full perimeter, creating a subtle border of refracted light that changes character throughout the day. The mirror surface is bright and true, free from tinting or antiquing, and the slim black edge where the backing meets the glass gives the piece a crisp, contemporary outline. In our experience, this kind of frameless bevelled design sits comfortably alongside both minimalist Scandi interiors and warmer, mid-century schemes — its neutrality is its strength.
Size & Placement
At 174 cm tall and 85 cm wide, this is a full length bevelled mirror sized to give you a head-to-toe reflection when wall-mounted at standing height. Hung portrait in a hallway or bedroom, it becomes a practical dressing mirror that also opens up the space with reflected light. Flip it to landscape and it works beautifully above a dining table, console, or sideboard — the lifestyle image shows exactly this arrangement, where the wide rectangular mirror for wall use doubles the sense of depth in an open-plan living area. With a flat bottom edge, the mirror can also lean safely against a wall as a full length large mirror for wall or floor use, making it a versatile choice for bedrooms or dressing rooms where you’d rather not drill. At 18 kg it has a reassuring solidity without being unmanageable.
Hanging & Installation
Four D-loops are pre-fitted to the hardwood back, positioned to support both portrait and landscape hanging. Line your wall screws up with the centre of each D-loop and hang the mirror directly — do not use string, wire, or chain. Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included, so choose fixings rated for your wall type (solid masonry, plasterboard with specialist anchors, etc.). At 18 kg, we recommend a two-person lift for positioning and hanging. On stud walls, try to locate at least two fixings into the timber studs for the most secure hold.
For a clean, flush-wall finish, we recommend pairing this mirror with our heavy-duty mirror fittings kit — a hook-and-loop back-plate system designed to sit flat against solid frames.
