This frameless mirror 120 x 80 cm pairs a generous rectangular format with a refined bevelled edge, delivering the kind of clean, uninterrupted reflection that works in practically any room. Part of our Clovelly Collection range, a collection that sells consistently well with our living room and hallway customers.
Design & Materials
Without a frame to compete for attention, the focus here falls entirely on the glass itself. The bevelled edge — a gently angled cut running around the full perimeter — adds a subtle border of refracted light that lifts the mirror from plain to polished. Up close you can see the bevel is cleanly machined, roughly 2 cm wide, tapering to meet the flat mirror surface. The glass is backed by a hardwood panel with plastic veneer, keeping the piece lightweight yet rigid. At just 1.6 cm deep, it sits almost flush against the wall, giving a sleek, modern profile. We recommend this style whenever a room needs light and depth without introducing another colour or texture.
Size & Placement
At 120 cm tall and 80 cm wide in portrait orientation, this is a large modern wall mirror that fills a wall space generously without overwhelming it. Hung portrait above a hallway console, the proportions frame your reflection from waist to well above the head — ideal for a last check before leaving the house. Flip it to landscape and it spans comfortably above a standard 150 cm sideboard or fireplace, working as a rectangular large wall mirror for a living room or dining area. Because the base is flat, you also have the option of leaning it against a wall for a relaxed, contemporary look in a bedroom or dressing space. The plain, frameless aesthetic means it sits naturally alongside both modern and traditional décor — from Scandi-minimal schemes to paired-back period rooms that need a breather from ornate detailing.
Hanging & Installation
The mirror arrives with four D-loops pre-fitted to the hardwood back, positioned so you can hang in either portrait or landscape without re-attaching hardware. Simply line up your wall screws with the centre of the corresponding D-loops and lower the mirror into place. Do not use string, wire, or chain — direct hanging on screws is the safest approach for a piece of this size. At 8 kg it is manageable for one person, though having a second pair of hands to hold the mirror level while you mark drill points makes the job easier. Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included; choose fixings suited to your wall type (solid masonry, plasterboard, or stud).
For a clean, flush-wall finish, we recommend pairing this mirror with our heavy-duty mirror fittings kit — a hook-and-loop back-plate system designed to sit flat against solid frames.
