Searching for large bathroom mirrors UK? This a consistent bestseller in our Wall Mirrors range. With its clean rectangular silhouette and all-mirror construction, it brings a quiet sense of depth and light to any room — bathroom, hallway, or living space — without competing with the rest of your décor.
Design & Materials
Constructed entirely from mirror glass, this frameless piece features a generous bevelled border that adds a layered, three-dimensional profile. The border comprises wide bevelled mirror panels with mitred corners, creating a picture-frame effect that catches light from different angles — a hallmark of art deco mirror styling. A hardwood backing and black felt layer sit behind the glass, adding rigidity and protecting your wall surface. The finish is polished and reflective throughout, giving the mirror a sophisticated, modern feel that works beautifully alongside contemporary fittings or as a large wall art mirror in more traditional settings.
Size & Placement
At 120 cm tall and 80 cm wide, this is a genuinely generous mirror — large enough to serve as a focal point above a double vanity or bathroom cabinet, yet refined enough not to overwhelm the wall. In our experience, this size sits perfectly above a standard console table in a hallway or entrance, where it reflects natural light back into the space and makes the area feel more open. It also works well as a modern wall centrepiece in a living room or bedroom, hung portrait above a sideboard or landscape above a bed. With a flat bottom edge, you can lean it against a wall on a sturdy surface for a relaxed, design-led look — though at 15 kg, we recommend wall-mounting for the most secure result. Whether you are looking for large bathroom mirrors for a UK home renovation or simply a versatile rectangular wall mirror, this piece adapts to the setting.
Hanging & Installation
Four D-loops are pre-fitted to the hardwood backing, positioned so you can hang this mirror in either portrait or landscape orientation. Line up your wall screws with the centre of the corresponding D-loops and hang directly — do not use string, wire, or chain. At 15 kg, a two-person lift is sensible, and you should choose fixings appropriate for your wall type; rawl plugs and screws are not supplied. For plasterboard or stud walls, toggle or snap-toggle fixings will give the strongest hold.
For a clean, flush-wall finish, we recommend pairing this mirror with our heavy-duty mirror fittings kit — a hook-and-loop back-plate system designed to sit flat against solid frames.
