This slim black aluminium full length mirror pairs a clean, modern silhouette with an ultra-narrow frame that almost disappears against the wall. Drawn from our Arlington Collection, a line we return to often when customers ask for understated, contemporary designs — it delivers head-to-toe reflection without adding visual bulk to the room.
Design & Materials
The frame is constructed from lightweight aluminium finished in a dark, brushed black tone. Up close, you can see a subtle linear grain in the metal — not a flat gloss, not a powdery matte, but a quiet satin-brushed texture that catches the light softly. At just 1.5 cm wide, the frame reads almost as a thin dark outline around the glass, giving the mirror a pared-back, architectural feel. The mirror glass itself is clear and unbevelled, offering an uninterrupted reflection. Steel brackets on the rear add rigidity behind the aluminium shell, keeping the overall depth to a remarkably slim 1.6 cm. In our experience, this kind of low-profile build sits much closer to the wall than timber-framed alternatives, which matters when space is tight.
Size & Placement
At 150 cm tall and 60 cm wide, this black framed full length mirror is sized to give a comfortable head-to-toe view for most adults without dominating the wall. The narrow width suits spaces where a wider leaner would feel excessive — think the wall beside a wardrobe, a landing between doorways, or a slim hallway alcove. Because the bottom edge is flat, you can lean the mirror against a wall on a hard floor for an effortlessly relaxed look in a bedroom or dressing room. Hung in landscape above a console table, it becomes a modern wall mirror that stretches the sense of width in a compact living area. The black finish pairs naturally with industrial shelving, dark-metal furniture, and monochrome palettes, though it works equally well as a sharp contrast in lighter, neutral-toned interiors.
Hanging & Installation
The mirror arrives with four D-loops pre-fitted on the back, positioned to support both portrait and landscape hanging. You simply align your wall screws with the D-loop centres and hang the mirror directly — no wire, string, or chain should be used. At 15 kg, this is manageable for one person to lift, but having a second pair of hands makes positioning and levelling much easier, especially on a portrait hang. Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included, so choose fixings rated for your wall type: standard screws into timber studs, or appropriate anchors for plasterboard or masonry walls.
For a clean, flush-wall finish, we recommend pairing this mirror with our heavy-duty mirror fittings kit — a hook-and-loop back-plate system designed to sit flat against solid frames.
