This black framed large wall mirror brings quiet confidence to any room. Part of our Arlington Collection range, a collection that sells consistently well with our bedroom and hallway customers, it pairs generous proportions with a pared-back design that lets the space around it do the talking.
Design & Materials
The frame is constructed from aluminium finished in a deep, matte black with a subtle brushed texture visible at close range. At roughly 1.5 cm wide, the profile is deliberately slim — just enough to define the mirror’s edge without competing with surrounding décor. The glass is clear and unbevelled, delivering a crisp, undistorted reflection across the full surface. There are no embellishments or mouldings; every line is straight and precise, giving the piece a distinctly modern, architectural feel. In our experience, this stripped-back approach is the one that sits most comfortably alongside Scandinavian, industrial, and contemporary interiors alike.
Size & Placement
Measuring 174 cm high by 85 cm wide, this is a full length black wall mirror that offers a genuine head-to-toe view when hung in portrait orientation. Positioned at the end of a hallway or on a bedroom wall beside a wardrobe, it opens up the space and bounces light back into the room. Because the base is flat, you can also lean it against a wall at a gentle angle — a popular choice for bedrooms where you want a relaxed, editorial look without drilling into the plaster. Flip it to landscape and it becomes a large rectangular mirror suited to living rooms, dining spaces, or above a long sideboard. At only 2 cm deep it sits virtually flush, so it works even in narrower corridors or landings where projection matters.
Hanging & Installation
Four D-loops are pre-fitted to the back of the frame, positioned to support both portrait and landscape hanging. Line up your wall screws with the centre of each D-loop and hang the mirror directly — no wire, string, or chain should be used. At 20 kg this is a substantial piece, so we recommend a two-person lift during installation and fixings rated for your wall type (wall screws and rawl plugs are not included). For solid masonry a standard heavy-duty plug will suffice; for stud or plasterboard walls, use dedicated plasterboard anchors rated well above the mirror’s weight.
For a clean, flush-wall finish, we recommend pairing this mirror with our heavy-duty mirror fittings kit — a hook-and-loop back-plate system designed to sit flat against solid frames.
