This glass frame mirror pairs clean rectangular lines with layered bevelled panels, creating a piece that feels both modern and quietly luxurious. Part of our Holsworthy Collection range, a collection that sells consistently well with our hallway and living room customers.
Design & Materials
Rather than a traditional timber or metal frame, this mirror uses an all-mirror border — two tiers of bevelled glass panels set at an angle around a central bevelled plate. The result is a subtle depth effect: light hits each angled edge and refracts into fine bright lines, giving the surface a layered, almost architectural quality. A thin black line between each panel defines the step between tiers and adds crisp contrast against the clear glass. Behind the mirrored face sits a hardwood backing board with a black felt layer that prevents scuffing and keeps the mirror flush against the wall.
Size & Placement
At 100 cm tall and 70 cm wide, this rectangular frameless wall mirror is generous enough to serve as a focal point yet restrained enough to sit above a console table, sideboard, or mantelpiece without overwhelming the wall. In our experience, a mirror of this proportion works particularly well in hallways that need brightening — positioned opposite a window or light source, it bounces daylight deeper into the space. It suits modern and art deco interiors equally, pairing naturally with metallic accents, geometric furniture, and pared-back colour palettes. The flat bottom edge also means you can lean it against a wall on a shelf or mantel for a more relaxed, gallery-style look. Because it can be hung in either portrait or landscape, the same mirror adapts to tall, narrow walls and wider stretches above a bed or sofa.
Hanging & Installation
The mirror arrives with four D-loops fitted to the back of the hardwood frame — two positioned for portrait hanging and two for landscape. Line up your wall screws with the corresponding D-loop centres, then hang the mirror directly onto the screws. Do not use string, wire, or chain. At 10 kg, we recommend a two-person lift for safe positioning; one person holds the mirror while the other marks the fixing points. Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included, so choose fixings appropriate for your wall type — toggle bolts for plasterboard, masonry plugs for brick or block.
For a clean, flush-wall finish, we recommend pairing this mirror with our heavy-duty mirror fittings kit — a hook-and-loop back-plate system designed to sit flat against solid frames.
