Clean Lines, Quiet Glamour
This modern hallway mirror pairs a generous reflection area with an art deco-inspired bevelled border that catches the light from every angle. Part of our Lynton Collection range, a collection that sells consistently well with our hallway and living-room customers, it brings a polished sense of depth to any wall without competing with the décor around it.
Design & Materials
The frame is constructed entirely from mirror glass — three individually bevelled strips run vertically along each side, with matching horizontal strips at top and bottom. Each bevel refracts light differently, creating a layered, stepped profile with real visual depth. A thin black edge separates each strip, providing subtle contrast against the silver glass. Behind the mirror sits a hardwood backing board lined with black felt to protect your wall. The central panel is clear, distortion-free glass. In our experience, this style of all-mirror frame sits comfortably alongside both minimalist interiors and more decorative schemes — it reads as an art deco wall mirror in period settings, yet equally as a pared-back frameless piece in contemporary spaces.
Size & Placement
At 100 cm tall and 70 cm wide, this rectangular frameless wall mirror makes an impact without overwhelming a space. Hung portrait in a hallway, it gives you a generous three-quarter reflection above a console table — tall enough to check your coat on the way out. Flip it to landscape and it works beautifully as a decorative wall mirror above a sideboard or mantelpiece, where the horizontal bevelled strips echo the furniture lines beneath. The slim 2 cm depth keeps it unobtrusive in narrow corridors, and at 12 kg it is straightforward to hang on properly anchored fixings. We often suggest this for entrance halls and landings where you want to bounce natural light deeper into the home.
Hanging & Installation
Four D-loops are pre-fitted to the hardwood backing — two positioned for portrait and two for landscape — so you can decide on the spot which orientation suits your wall. Align your wall screws with the corresponding D-loop centres and hang the mirror directly. Do not use string, wire, or chain. Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included; choose fixings rated for your wall type. A second pair of hands makes levelling quicker, though one person can manage comfortably. The flat bottom edge also means you can lean this mirror against a wall on a shelf or mantelpiece for a more relaxed, unfixed look.
For a clean, flush-wall finish, we recommend pairing this mirror with our heavy-duty mirror fittings kit — a hook-and-loop back-plate system designed to sit flat against solid frames.
