This long rectangular mirror pairs clean geometric lines with the sparkle of layered bevelled glass, creating a piece that feels both modern and quietly glamorous. Part of our Lynton Collection range, a collection that sells consistently well with our hallway and bedroom customers.
Design & Materials
Rather than a traditional frame, the border is built entirely from mirrored panels arranged in a stepped, tiered profile. Three narrow bevelled strips run along each side, flanked by wider outer sections, while the four corners are finished with square bevelled blocks that nod to classic art deco detailing. The result is a frameless mirror with genuine architectural depth — light refracts differently across each strip, giving the edges a subtle shimmer that shifts as you move around the room. Beneath the glass sits a hardwood backing board finished with a black felt layer, which keeps the rear tidy against the wall and helps protect your paintwork.
Size & Placement
At 120 cm tall and 40 cm wide, this tall rectangular wall mirror occupies a narrow footprint that suits spaces where a broader piece would feel cramped. In our experience, it works particularly well mounted portrait-style in a hallway between doors, beside a console table in an entrance, or on a slim bedroom wall next to a wardrobe. It also sits comfortably above a dressing table, providing enough height for a seated reflection. Because it has a flat bottom edge, you can lean it against a skirting board for a more relaxed look — propped on a bedroom floor or a deep shelf, it adds a layer of decorative wall art without committing to permanent fixings. If you prefer a landscape orientation, perhaps above a bed headboard or a sideboard, the hanging hardware supports that too. The clean, all-mirror finish pairs naturally with modern and art deco interiors, sitting equally well alongside polished metallics, monochrome palettes, or muted neutrals.
Hanging & Installation
The mirror comes fitted with four D-loops on the back, positioned so you can hang it in either portrait or landscape orientation. Line your wall screws up with the centre of each D-loop and hang the mirror directly — do not use string, wire, or chain. At 10 kg it is manageable for one person to lift, though having a second pair of hands to mark and level the fixings makes the job smoother. Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included, so choose fixings rated for your wall type: standard rawl plugs for masonry, or heavy-duty plasterboard anchors for stud walls.
For a clean, flush-wall finish, we recommend pairing this mirror with our heavy-duty mirror fittings kit — a hook-and-loop back-plate system designed to sit flat against solid frames.
