This small art deco mirror pairs clean geometric lines with an all-glass construction that feels both polished and understated. Drawn from our Lynton Collection range, a line we return to often when customers ask for frameless art deco styling with genuine period detail.
Design & Materials
The border is constructed entirely from bevelled mirror strips — three parallel lines running along each side, separated by fine black spacing that gives the pattern its crisp definition. Each corner is punctuated by a raised square mirror block, adding a subtle three-dimensional quality that catches light differently throughout the day. There is no painted or wooden frame visible from the front; the mirror-on-mirror construction keeps the look sleek and luminous, while a hardwood backing and black felt layer provide the rigidity and wall protection behind the scenes.
The bevelled edges refract light beautifully, creating soft prismatic glints along every strip — a hallmark of the art deco style and a detail that separates this piece from flat, single-pane frameless mirrors. In our experience, this kind of layered glass border reads as far more considered than its modest dimensions might suggest.
Size & Placement
Measuring 68 cm high by 58 cm wide and just 2 cm deep, this small rectangular wall mirror is sized to enhance a space without overwhelming it. It sits comfortably above a console table in a hallway, over a bedside cabinet, or centred on a feature wall in a cloakroom. Hung in landscape orientation, it also works well as an overmantle piece above a smaller fireplace or as a decorative accent above a dressing table.
The all-mirror finish means it blends with virtually any colour scheme — pair it with muted greys and silvers for a cohesive modern look, or set it against deep jewel tones to let the geometric border stand out. The flat base edge means you can also lean it on a shelf or mantelpiece for an informal, layered display.
Hanging & Installation
This mirror arrives with four D-loops fitted to the back — positioned so you can hang it in either portrait or landscape orientation. Line up your wall screws with the corresponding D-loops and hang the mirror directly; do not use string, wire, or chain. At 8 kg, it is manageable for one person, though having someone steady the frame while you mark fixing points makes the job easier. Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included, so choose fixings suited to your wall type — plasterboard anchors for stud walls, or masonry plugs for brick and block.
For a clean, flush-wall finish, we recommend pairing this mirror with our heavy-duty mirror fittings kit — a hook-and-loop back-plate system designed to sit flat against solid frames.
