This art deco panelled wall mirror pairs clean geometric lines with the sparkle of layered bevelled glass, creating a piece that feels both structured and luminous. Drawn from our Lynton Collection range, a line we return to often when customers ask for understated art deco style.
Design & Materials
The frame is built entirely from mirror panels rather than wood or metal, giving it a seamless, all-glass appearance that sits beautifully in contemporary and period rooms alike. Three bevelled glass strips run vertically along each side, with matching horizontal strips across the top and bottom — a geometric pattern that nods to classic deco architecture without overwhelming the wall. A solid square mirror block anchors each corner, tying the composition together with a neat, architectural finish.
Behind the glass sits a hardwood sub-frame with a black felt backing layer, adding rigidity and protecting your wall surface. The central mirror panel itself is clear and undistorted, bordered by a fine bevelled edge where it meets the decorative surround. At just 2 cm deep, the profile is slim and sits close to the wall for a refined look — a style we see chosen most often for modern living spaces that call for decorative wall art without visual bulk.
Size & Placement
Measuring 90 cm tall by 60 cm wide, this panelled wall mirror occupies a practical middle ground — large enough to make an impression, modest enough to work above a console table, sideboard, or mantelpiece without dominating. In portrait orientation it’s ideal over a narrow hallway table; flip it to landscape and it becomes a striking overmantle or a focal point above a bed headboard.
The all-mirror finish and linear detailing complement both neutral and bold wall colours. It pairs naturally with other art deco mirrors and modern mirror wall art, and its frameless look means it blends effortlessly with chrome, glass, or metallic furniture. If you’re after a rectangular frameless wall mirror that adds depth and light to a smaller room, this is a confident choice — the bevelled strips scatter light across the wall in a way that a single flat panel cannot match.
Hanging & Installation
This mirror arrives fitted with four D-loop fixings on the back, positioned so you can hang it in either portrait or landscape. Line your wall screws up with the centre of each D-loop and hang the mirror directly — no wire, string, or chain should be used. Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included, so please choose fixings appropriate for your wall type. For plasterboard or stud walls, heavy-duty fixings are strongly advisable given the 12 kg weight; we recommend having a second person to help lift the mirror into position.
For a clean, flush-wall finish, we recommend pairing this mirror with our heavy-duty mirror fittings kit — a hook-and-loop back-plate system designed to sit flat against solid frames.
