This large mirror art deco wall mirror makes a confident statement wherever you place it — all clean geometry and light-catching bevelled glass on an impressively generous scale. Part of our Lynton Collection range, a collection that sells consistently well with our living room and hallway customers.
Design & Materials
The entire frame is constructed from individual bevelled mirror panels arranged in a distinctive art deco pattern. Vertical strips run along each side while horizontal bars span the top and bottom, intersected by square corner blocks that anchor the composition. Every panel is bevelled, so light refracts across the surface and gives the border genuine depth — a detail that separates this from flat mirrored frames. Behind the glass sits a hardwood backing board lined with black felt, which keeps the mirror rigid and protects your wall from scuffs. The result is a large wall art mirror that feels architectural rather than merely decorative, with a polished, all-silver finish that complements both contemporary and classic interiors.
Size & Placement
Measuring 120 cm tall by 80 cm wide and just 2 cm deep, this is a genuinely large decorative wall mirror that fills a space without overwhelming it. In portrait orientation, it works beautifully above a console table or sideboard in a hallway, where the linear panel design draws the eye upward and amplifies natural light. Flip it to landscape and it becomes a striking overmantle piece or a focal point above a sofa — as shown in the lifestyle image. At 80 cm wide in landscape, it sits comfortably above most standard two- or three-seater sofas. We often suggest this for rooms where you want the impact of large wall art but with the practical benefit of a mirror’s light-reflecting qualities. The flat bottom edge also means you can lean it against a wall on a deep shelf or mantelpiece if you prefer a more relaxed look. A style we see chosen most often for modern and art deco-inspired schemes, it pairs equally well with muted, neutral walls and bolder feature surfaces.
Hanging & Installation
This mirror arrives fitted with four D-loops on the back, positioned so you can hang it in either portrait or landscape. Simply align your wall screws with the centre of the corresponding D-loops and hang directly — do not use string, wire, or chain. At 15 kg, it has a solid, reassuring weight, so we recommend a two-person lift when positioning it on the wall. Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included; choose fixings appropriate to your wall type — standard plugs for solid masonry, or specialist plasterboard anchors for stud walls.
For a clean, flush-wall finish, we recommend pairing this mirror with our heavy-duty mirror fittings kit — a hook-and-loop back-plate system designed to sit flat against solid frames.
