This large art deco style wall mirror makes an immediate impression — its all-mirror frame catches and redirects light across the room, lending depth and a quiet sense of grandeur to any wall. Part of our Lynton Collection range, a collection that sells consistently well with our living room and dining room customers.
Design & Materials
The frame is constructed from a series of bevelled glass strips arranged in a geometric pattern: three narrow horizontal bands run across the top and bottom, while matching vertical strips frame the sides. The result is a clean, linear border that nods to classic art deco geometry without overwhelming the space. Each strip is individually bevelled, so light plays differently across every edge, creating subtle sparkle as you move through the room.
Behind the glass, a hardwood backing board provides structural rigidity, finished with a black felt layer on the reverse to protect your wall. The central mirror panel is clear and un-tinted, with its own polished edge that sits flush with the surrounding frame panels. The overall effect is a large wall art mirror that doubles as both a functional reflective surface and a decorative focal point.
Size & Placement
At 144 cm tall and 115.5 cm wide, this is a substantial piece — in our experience, a mirror of this scale works best on a wall with breathing room, such as above a sofa, sideboard, or console table. Hung landscape above a three-seater, it fills the wall convincingly without overpowering the furniture below. In portrait orientation, it creates a dramatic vertical statement in a hallway or dining room.
The flat bottom edge also means you can lean it against a wall if you prefer a more relaxed, contemporary look — propped on a mantelpiece or resting on a solid floor. At just 1.6 cm deep and weighing 10 kg, it sits close to the wall and feels proportionate rather than bulky. The frameless, all-mirror finish pairs naturally with modern and minimalist interiors, though the geometric detailing also complements more decorative schemes.
Hanging & Installation
This mirror comes fitted with four D-loops on the back — two positioned for landscape hanging and two for portrait — so you can choose the orientation that best suits your space. Simply position your wall screws to line up with the corresponding D-loop centres and hang the mirror directly onto them. Do not use string, wire, or chain, as the mirror is designed to sit flush against the wall on its fixings.
At 10 kg, we recommend a two-person lift when positioning the mirror, particularly if you are mounting it above furniture. Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included; use fixings appropriate for your wall type — heavier-duty anchors for plasterboard, standard plugs and screws for solid masonry.
For a clean, flush-wall finish, we recommend pairing this mirror with our heavy-duty mirror fittings kit — a hook-and-loop back-plate system designed to sit flat against solid frames.
