A sculptural centrepiece without the frame
This frameless decorative wall mirror makes a quiet statement through shape alone. Its asymmetric, pebble-like outline breaks away from the straight lines that dominate most interiors, adding movement and visual interest without a single ornate detail. Part of our Flowford Collection range, a collection that sells consistently well with our modern and minimalist customers.
Design & Materials
The mirror glass is cut into a flowing organic silhouette — wider through the lower third, tapering to a softly rounded point at the top. Edges are polished smooth, giving a clean, refined finish that catches light without the added depth of a bevel. With no surrounding frame, the reflective surface appears to float directly on the wall, an effect sometimes called a “floating mirror.” Behind the glass sits a sturdy wooden backing board cut to the same profile, painted black for a neat, concealed rear. At just 2 cm deep, the overall profile is slim and unobtrusive. In our experience, this kind of large modern decorative wall mirror works especially well against textured or boldly coloured walls, where the contrast between surface and glass creates real visual drama.
Size & Placement
At 140 cm tall and 58 cm wide, this is a generously sized piece — tall enough to serve as a near full-length reflection, yet narrow enough to slot into spaces where a broader mirror would overwhelm. Hung vertically in a hallway, it gives you a final outfit check while acting as a large decorative wall mirror for living room or bedroom schemes. Rotate it to landscape above a sideboard or console table and the silhouette takes on an entirely different character — wider, more abstract. Because the design is frameless and plain, it complements both pared-back modern interiors and eclectic spaces where you want the mirror to be a statement without competing with other patterns. Pair it with natural materials — timber furniture, linen textiles, exposed brick — and the organic shape will feel right at home.
Hanging & Installation
The mirror arrives fitted with four D-loop brackets on the back, positioned so you can hang it in either portrait or landscape orientation. Simply position your wall screws to align with the corresponding D-loops and hang the mirror directly — no wire, string, or chain should be used. At 10 kg, it is manageable for one person to lift, though a second pair of hands makes levelling much easier. Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included; use fixings appropriate to your wall type (plasterboard, brick, or block). For stud walls, aim to anchor at least two screws into a timber stud for a secure hold.
For a clean, flush-wall finish, we recommend pairing this mirror with our heavy-duty mirror fittings kit — a hook-and-loop back-plate system designed to sit flat against solid frames.
