A sculptural centrepiece for modern interiors
This large irregular wall mirror makes a bold impression the moment you see it. Part of our Flowford Collection range, a collection that sells consistently well with our living-room and hallway customers, it pairs a fluid, asymmetric outline with clean frameless construction — the kind of piece that turns a plain wall into a talking point.
Design & Materials
The mirror’s organic, curving silhouette sets it apart from standard rectangular or round designs. There is no traditional frame: the glass itself is the feature, with edges finished in a slim black profile that gives it just enough definition without adding visual weight. The backing is solid wood, painted black for a neat appearance from every angle. Clear, undistorted glass runs right to the edge, so the full surface is usable — ideal if you want a large modern wall mirror that doubles as a practical check before heading out. In our experience, this kind of frameless irregular shape pairs especially well with minimalist or Scandinavian-leaning décor, though it holds its own against deeper colour palettes and textured walls too.
Size & Placement
At 140 cm tall and 60 cm wide, this is a generously sized mirror without being overwhelming. It sits comfortably in a hallway above a console table, along a living-room accent wall, or in a bedroom where you need a full-length view. The flat bottom edge means you can lean it against a wall as a floor mirror — propped at a gentle angle on a hard floor, it creates a relaxed, gallery-like feel. Its narrow 60 cm width makes it a practical choice even for tighter spaces such as landing walls or alcoves. At 2 cm deep, it sits almost flush, reinforcing the modern, pared-back look. If you are searching for a large decorative wall mirror for your living room that doubles as genuine wall art, this irregular shape delivers on both fronts.
Hanging & Installation
The mirror arrives fitted with two D-loop fixings on the back, positioned vertically for portrait hanging. Install two screws in your wall, spaced to match the D-loop centres, and hang directly — no wire or chain should be used. At 15 kg, a two-person lift is sensible when positioning the mirror, and we recommend using fixings rated for your wall type (plasterboard anchors for stud walls, rawl plugs and screws for masonry). Wall fixings are not included.
For a clean, flush-wall finish, we recommend pairing this mirror with our heavy-duty mirror fittings kit — a hook-and-loop back-plate system designed to sit flat against solid frames.
