A sculptural shape that stops you mid-step
This wavy edge frameless mirror makes an immediate impression. Its flowing, asymmetric outline feels almost hand-drawn — wider at the top, tapering and swelling as the eye travels down — and the absence of a frame lets those organic curves sit cleanly against any wall colour. Part of our Flowford Collection range, a collection that sells consistently well with our bedroom and living room customers.
Design & Materials
The mirror glass is clear and undistorted, cut to follow a gently undulating contour that gives the piece its distinctive character. There is no bevelled edge — the glass meets the profile cleanly, creating a crisp silhouette whether viewed straight-on or at an angle. Behind the glass sits a solid wooden backing board finished in black, which adds rigidity and keeps the mirror stable on the wall. At just 2 cm deep, the profile is slim enough to sit almost flush. In our experience, frameless mirrors with irregular shapes like this one draw attention precisely because they break the expected geometry of a room — a single piece can shift the feel of an entire wall from ordinary to curated.
Size & Placement
At 100 cm tall and 45 cm wide, this decorative wall mirror occupies a similar footprint to a narrow full-length piece, yet its organic form makes it feel lighter and less imposing. It works well above a console table in a hallway, beside a wardrobe in a bedroom, or as a statement on a living room gallery wall. Because the shape is narrow, it slots into spaces where a standard rectangular mirror might look too rigid — between a window and a doorframe, for instance, or on a slim section of landing wall. The flowing outline pairs naturally with mid-century modern furniture, Scandi-inspired interiors, and pared-back minimalist schemes, while also holding its own against busier decorative wall mirrors and textured backdrops.
Hanging & Installation
Four D-loop fixings are pre-fitted to the wooden backing — two near the top, two near the bottom — so you can hang the mirror in either portrait or landscape orientation. Position your wall screws to align with the centre of the corresponding D-loops, then hang the mirror directly onto them. Do not use string, wire, or chain. At 7 kg, it is manageable for one person to lift, though a second pair of hands makes levelling easier. Use fixings appropriate for your wall type — heavyweight rawl plugs for masonry, or specialist plasterboard anchors for stud walls. Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included.
For a clean, flush-wall finish, we recommend pairing this mirror with our heavy-duty mirror fittings kit — a hook-and-loop back-plate system designed to sit flat against solid frames.
