This double bevelled mirror pairs clean geometric lines with the light-catching depth of layered bevelled glass — a combination that feels both modern and quietly decorative. Part of our Lingport Collection range, a collection that sells consistently well with our living room and hallway customers.
Design & Materials
The border is built from precision-cut bevelled mirror strips arranged in a stepped, double-frame pattern. Two distinct tiers of bevelled glass surround the central panel, separated by slim black detailing that gives the design its sharp, architectural quality. Because the entire piece is constructed from mirror glass mounted on a hardwood backing with a black felt protective layer, there is no traditional frame — instead, the border itself becomes a reflective, multifaceted feature. Each bevelled edge catches and refracts light differently, creating subtle shifts in tone as you move around the room. The overall effect sits comfortably alongside art deco interiors and modern minimalist spaces alike.
Size & Placement
At 120 cm tall and 80 cm wide, this is a generously sized wall mirror that makes a genuine visual impact without overwhelming a standard room. In our experience, a mirror of these proportions works particularly well above a console table in a hallway, over a sideboard in a dining room, or as a focal point on a feature wall in a living space. The bevelled border adds roughly 8 cm of decorative depth on each side, so the reflective area still feels substantial. Because it can be hung in either portrait or landscape orientation, you can adapt it to suit the wall space you have — landscape works beautifully above a mantelpiece or sofa, while portrait is ideal for narrower walls and entryways. The flat bottom edge also means this mirror can lean safely against a wall if you prefer a more relaxed, floor-level placement.
Hanging & Installation
This mirror comes fitted with four D-loops on the back, positioned to support both portrait and landscape hanging. Position your wall screws to align with the centre of the corresponding D-loops and hang the mirror directly — do not use string, wire, or chain. At 15 kg, we recommend a two-person lift for safe positioning. Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included; use fixings appropriate to your wall type, whether solid masonry, plasterboard, or stud wall.
For a clean, flush-wall finish, we recommend pairing this mirror with our heavy-duty mirror fittings kit — a hook-and-loop back-plate system designed to sit flat against solid frames.
